Am I the only person who hasn't ever had a bikini wax?

My friend was asking me for recommendations of waxing places in my area when she was staying and I told her that I didn't know as I have never been waxed.
She was so shocked at the though that its been playing on my mind.

Do most people?

I just get the thought that its going to be ever so painful and scare myself from tribg it.

I've never had any sort of wax. I don't have hairs on legs above the knees and it's easy enough just to shave the rest, when I can be bothered. I really don't mind body hair anyway, just do it sporadically because it's expected.

Not me. I'm not really requiring it tbh. A little trim is sufficient.

Thank goodness! I do have my eyebrows done and that tell me all I need to know on how painful it'd be.

Me neither. I'm of the age when it was never deemed necessary, and now find it weird and mildly disturbing. I give the old girl a mow now and then, and maybe shave the edges if a swimming costume is going to be involved.

Yes I'm the same herbaceous: it was never an issue in my younger days. I am most perturbed Confused about all this waxing to extremes that goes on nowadays.

I haven't either. My swimming cozzie has a wee skirt attached so I don't need to. Just shave legs in the summer.

Never here either.
Once had lower leg done and to be honest thought it was a bit meh.

Once had eyebrows done too - was terrible and left me all red and puffy.

Stick to shaving now. Tis easy and cheap.

never waxed anywhere but my eyebrows.
but then am not very hairy.
shave my legs from time to time and trim my bush once a month but nowt more than that

Never had anything waxed either, I'm glad to see I'm in good company! Don't give it another thought OP not everyone does it. And I managed to find a husband and have a life and everything and it really isn't important.

Nope me either - tried a home waxing thing when I was younger and had awful bruising after first strip, that was enough or me to return to the razor and that was just on the legs! Can't imagine anywhere else being ripped off like it! Shock

I have just started waxing at 40. (Not everything off but enough that I don't look like I've got a yeti down my cossie!)
I have dark hair and don't like being really hairy. (I tidy the hair on my head!) I get fed up of shaving legs all the time and weekly hair removal creams.
Pain? I chat all the way through!

PS home waxing totally different and OUCH! Tried waxing my own bikini line. Bruised and bleeding!

I had my bikini line done for the first time recently, before DS was born. I usually trim but couldn't see. Oh man it hurt. And a couple of months later I welcomed an unsightly boil to my nethers, courtesy of an ingrown hair. Never again.

I had the same moment of Shock Blush Hmm when I first noticed a hair-free woman in the gym changing room. It made me question myself, but if I'm honest I find it a bit weird.

Nope. Never waxed anything but my eyebrows. I am not a sunbather or a keen swimmer so the spider's legs are only for my husband to see. It has never entered my head to have someone paint bit wax on my public mound and strip off my fur!

Never. I'm more of a tangled jungle kind of girl. If I ever put a cozzie on I would have a quick prune but would probably just wear shorts instead. I'm a bit lazy about underarms as well, I just don't wear sleeveless tops!

Never had any sort of wax. Or my ears pierced. I was a giant wuss long before I heard any feminist arguments on either side.

I think DH would be appalled if I waxed my nether regions. We are both of the generation that considers pubic hair normal and he is quite vocally fond of mine.
