'nude' lipstick

I want a nude(ish) lipstick that isn't a flat colour but has a bit of an iridescent(?) sheen but isn't too brown iyswim?

I've been watching the RHOBH and have been inspired by their lip shades...

Have Mexican Rose though - perfect colour, bleeds like buggery. And glossy.

Carthage appears to be as matte as nars go. they call the range Pure Matte. I beg to differ but it's certainly not glossy. Have not seen it in the flwsh.

having said that, just bought the prettiest almost nude one - Nars Mayflowers.
Pretty.

Don't forget that what's your perfect nude in winter will probab;y be a bit too light in summer however thorough you are with the sun screen, just like foundation really.

I want something paler to go with my brighter eyeshadows (of which I have masses!!!!)

I have darker brown hair: Clinique tenderheart as mentioned by Scottish mummy. Also possibly a tiny but of too good a "nude" match for me is max factor lip finity shade 001 - I'd really like something half a tone darker (the next one in their range is too much for me) You can add the incandescence with a gloss like the blistex suggested before: it needs a moist topcoat but don't think you're tied to the balm that comes with it as I use whatever's in my bag on top.

I bought sunscreen last year and I still haven't opened it.... the only time I was outside it was raining and I had a brolly over my head!

I do have spf in my estee lauder foundation though :( Had it done anything other than rain here last summer then I would've used it

I love that lipstick but it tends to look a bit OTT with some of my eyeshadows!

yes, it does need subtile rest of the face. Vary handy for rush days. swipe of nude eyeshadow, mascara, red lippy and BAM!

Ooh, thanks that does look like the range is actually matte, the shade is too subtle for what I'm after ATM but I'll definitely have a look next time in the Uk.
