FiveGoMadInDorset · 19/01/2013 19:27

What size are you? I like Monsoon stuff and I brought a great dress from there last november for a wedding.

Ruprekt · 19/01/2013 19:29

red but longer

love this, but you may well not!

there's a lot in the sales still, what size should I be looking out for?

notMarlene · 19/01/2013 19:39

this sort of thing? this is more fun, this is another great print. Grand with a bolero and you can wear flats with them without it looking odd. Do need a petticoat as well.

Jayne266 · 19/01/2013 19:45

Am size 22 guys

You can wear what you like as long as you have confidence Jayne.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 19/01/2013 19:47

Same as me.

Jayne266 · 19/01/2013 19:48

Wow Thanx am looking through them now I didn't even know asos did a plus size that's nice as I love their clothes but kept thinking maybe when the diet finally works Hmm

yy, what ruprekt (Skippy Dies?) said! You don't necessarily need the confidence first, wearing clothes you actually like will give you confidence...

What's the opposite of a viscous circle?

notMarlene · 19/01/2013 20:13

this dress is amazing

Jayne266 · 19/01/2013 20:40

Can I wear black? It's always my
Choice and am guessing all you guys think a dress rather than anything else.

TBH its a Thanx to all of u I didn't expect to get a answer. Not only have I got 5 dresses I like but have new places to shop now in the future.

Am not too bad fashion wise and it looks great but then put it on me and I end up thinking nah not for me. Lol so i dont have many clothes Does anyone else have this problem?

notmarlene virtuous circle
wear colour - even if just a colorful scarf !

notMarlene · 19/01/2013 21:10

Cheers revolve Grin

Nice trousers would be fine but I got the impression you fancied a dress...

Objectivly seen, changing room lights are awful, unflattering and generally sit. This is true almost without exception. Thye often have dodgy mirrors too. TBH just going into a changing room is enough to make me feel like shit. Depending on the returns policy and your budget it's seriously worth buying stuff you like to tyr on at home and return.

Oh, and yes, of course you can wear black! You just need colorful accessories. If you've not got a LBD at the moment then this is a damn good excuse to get one! Am happy to help with the details Wink

I bought similar before Xmas and I am an apple ..similar size..mine wasn't quite this busy but lovely shape with leggings and boots.Dress up or down and easy to wear with kiddies and not too hot.

Ruprekt · 19/01/2013 21:43

An LBD with some of the gorgeous jewellry and accessories from Elvi would look fab!
