got a few vouchers for Christmas from assorted in-laws, and am struggling to plough through page after page of acrylic blouses. would be keen to know if anyone's seen anything half-decent, before I spend the lot on cava and Percy Pigs.

The jeggings are actually great. I'm wearing a pair of aubergine ones today and they're very comfy but don't look like 'mum trousers'.

Heavywheezing · 12/01/2013 11:00

They were showing on their website a preview of what coming up in spring.

It looks really good. I tried to find it again but couldn't. It's on Pinterest, somewhere.

Either that spend your vouchers on food!

I got a purple silk bra and matching knickers from the rosie/autograph range, they're lovely.

Ooh I was just coming on to start a new thread about this!

Also have vouchers from Xmas and I absolutely cannot buy £60 worth of Percy Pigs.

EggRules · 12/01/2013 11:50

Red court shoes are lovely AND comfortable.

Charliefox · 12/01/2013 11:51

I got a lovely cheese and pickle sandwich the other day.

FrancesFarmer · 12/01/2013 11:58

They are good for tights and underwear - I wouldn't go near the clothes!

Casmama · 12/01/2013 12:03

Not exciting but useful.

MrsCampbellBlack · 12/01/2013 12:06

I'd wait a few weeks until the spring stuff comes in.

gatheringlilac · 12/01/2013 12:09

I was in a shop last week and tried on five different pairs of shoes that I would have bought quite happily.

Have you looked at the beauty section? Surely there's something in there that will tempt you?

I regularly buy jeans from M and S, and very nice they are too.

Cashmere and wool jerseys.

I had vouchers for M and S for Christmas but tragically I spent them in the Food Hall. I really wish I'd saved them for any of the above.

I don't get the moaning about M and S that there is on here sometimes. It carries such a huge range of stuff that I find it almost impossible to believe there's nothing you like.

Five pocket jeggings. I finally bought some last month and they are great.

Also, if you are near a big store their new perfume range is pretty good by miller Harris I think and lots of unusual French brands

valiumredhead · 12/01/2013 12:24

Bras - after years of avoiding them like the plague, I have recently bought 6!

Scarlet76 · 12/01/2013 12:33

Have a look at their limited collection. I got a nice linen printed T-shirt from there the other day. They also had a nice one with zips on the shoulders.
Tights and underwear also ok.

CharlotteBronteSaurus · 12/01/2013 14:05

thanks folks
am not wild about M&S lingerie - it never seems to fit my microbosoms
the shoes do look promising though
and i'd forgotten they did make-up - will have a rummage in the beauty department

I agree that the Rosie range is very pretty. I'm 24 and I got some lovely shoe boots from the Autograph range too.

polyhymnia · 12/01/2013 14:51

I think their cashmere is pretty good too.

MaureenShit · 12/01/2013 15:11

i loevt he autograph suede really high heels

JellicleCat · 12/01/2013 15:27

They have a goood range of inexpensive perfume. It's worth a look sniff.

Startail · 12/01/2013 15:43

Five pocket jeggings, tight enough to tuck in long boots, but smart enough not to hide under a tunic that makes you look mummsy at best and pg at worst.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 12/01/2013 17:12

Another vote for the jeggings in black or indigo (hideous name but great trews!).

I got a really nice scarf - beige with black feathers on and some seamed tights and some stocking effect opaques and some lacy tights (am a sucker for tights!).

I like their cotton pencil skirts for work. I like some of their three for a tenner knickers.

The Lynn Harris perfume is deffo worth a sniff.

Oh and in their latest magazine they are advertising an Autograph eyeshadow palette that looks v v like Urban Decay Naked but much cheaper.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 12/01/2013 17:12

Oh and their Prosecco is much, much nicer than Cava.
