A party dress to start off with. Am usually out of it and into pjs about halfway through the day though!

tacal · 21/12/2012 19:10

Either a dress and glittery cardigan or skinny jeans and a new top from Wallis. I can't decide.

didireallysaythat · 21/12/2012 19:16

Whatever is in the bag that's clean.

Selks · 21/12/2012 19:17

Jeans and a top. Nothing special. Maybe my reindeer deely boppers though.

Florin · 21/12/2012 19:22

One of my new dresses from French connection. Need to think about shoes though as the heels I have that would go are really high which would be a disaster after a few glasses of wine and carrying 6 month ds around!

Slim leg jeans and a slouchy v neck cashmere jumper in a lovely deep fuchsia.

Charliefox · 21/12/2012 19:36

Fleecy Primark pjs! Bliss.

Think I'm going to go dressy for the start - I have a new dress well it's really a tunic but I'm a short arse that needs an outing, mainly because its a size 10 and last christmas I was a 16/18

A red dress bought especially off ebay for £3.50! Not sure what to wear on my legs - its quite short / could be worn as a tunic. Maybe grey tights.

What about you OP?

sailorsgal · 21/12/2012 21:57

I bought a lovely beaded jumper in monsoon yesterday and will wear it with a black evening skirt I bought about 5 years ago but have never worn and very high LK Bennett shoes. Am on dh's ship so have to look fairly decent. Xmas Grin

Later will be in my PJ's in his cabin watching xmas tv.

zippy539 · 21/12/2012 22:00

Just normal clothes - not going anywhere - just me, dh and the dc's. Find it odd that we would dress up.

nappydaysagain · 21/12/2012 22:14

I've got a cheesy Christmas jumper dress with a snowman on from Peacocks Grin. I do normally like to dress up but fancied a change, and with 3 DSs it will probably be a practical outfit for building lego in, etc

IAmSheWhoMustBeObeyed · 22/12/2012 10:07

I just found a pair of Boden velvet wide leg trousers, with an elasticated waist for £7.50 in a charity shop! Perfect. With a black tunic. All designed to look slightly glam whist hiding Christmas dinner and being comfy.
How can you all wear skinnies and eat Christmas dinner?

A bkack and camel cowl neck jumper dress with heeled boots for church. Then change into dusky pink casual dress with ridiculously high heels for drinks and lunch, followed by comfy jeans and Christmas jumper for games with the kids, then chistmas pjs.
Wouldn't normally change for lunch, but kids want to get dressed up Grin

NettoHoHoHoSuperstar · 22/12/2012 10:18

Little lack shorts, animal print tights, stripy top with grey jumper over, shoe oots.

chocolateteabag · 22/12/2012 12:08

PJ's
Then this Phase Eight dress which looks a little bit like a DVF pattern - 40bum lady posted it last week and I had to have it! Was in the sale and got 6% cash back via Topcashback website too.

TapselteerieO · 22/12/2012 13:39

Possibly velvet skinny trousers & sparkly h&m t-shirt, or my lbd that is very easy to wear - top half figure hugging with sleeves, skirt gathered/loose, perfect dress for sitting down in. Sparkly ballet pumps indoors, black boots for the Christmas walk. I have a lightweight sparkly cardigan too also from h&m.

BornToFolk · 22/12/2012 13:42

Primark Xmas jumper, with Primark Xmas leggings and short skirt.

DS will also be sporting his Primark Xmas jumper and have told Mum that if she expects any Christmas dinner, she'd better wear something hideous festive too!

ISawSantaKissingThePortlyPinUp · 22/12/2012 14:04

This Gok Wan dress. It was half price in Sainsbury's yesterday so dp bought it for me as an extra Christmas present. I'm accessorising it with black patent heels, black opaques, a black hair flower and lashings of red lipstick :)

Meggles76 · 22/12/2012 14:39

Boden pimlico dress that I got for £27 in the sale. Opaques and ankle boots.

IslaValargeone · 22/12/2012 14:43

I'm short of cash, so spent the princely sum of £14 on a wine coloured body con midi dress from New Look, which I shall jazz up with some wine and silver beads I have.

FellowshipOfFestiveFellows · 22/12/2012 14:43

I bought a little navy blue dress from Primark. It has a cream lace Peter Pan collar and comes to my knee. Will wear with a waist belt, tights and my little Office heels which I wear with everything as they are so darn comfy. Dress was £13
