Please help, what colour tights and heels with this?

I have bought this: Joules dress/top

What tights and heels should I wear? Having a confidence crisis as it is (post birth hormones) DH wasn't sure about it, which doubted me.
I really like it and I think it suits me

Brown thick tights? Are navy tights naff?
Can I wear black ones even though the end of the dress is a dark blue?

Have brown boots but want heels what colour?
Can you tell I'm flustered?

Dark blue 100 denier is what I would wear with a dress this short. (can you get those?)And long boots. Or

Navy tights?

How tall are you? Maybe better as a top than as a dress.

I'm 5.5 ft in my very late twenties 30
It's actually longer on me than her.

Thick black tights and black boots would work I think.

I think that model must be pretty tall because that dress nearly touches my knee.
Tempted to have it altered. The navy panel at the bottom looks odd on me, it feels too long to wear with jeans.
Would give me more freedom to wear black with it too.
Hoping M&S will have 60/100 denier navy tights in tomorrow. Sainsburys had nowt.

Primark have got 120 denier tights in loads of colours, have a look and get brown and navy and decide then.
