Shrugs - are they soo 'last year' or not?

Ordered one from the next half price sale, am thinking I will be turning into my granny if I am wearing this crocheted thing over my arms - am I wrong??

I still wear mine, but I am 34 so not a young trendy woman Grin

I have just ordered a summery one for my hols too, they are still selling them in catalogues so I think they are still fairly "in".

Still loads of shrugs around in the shops just now. I like them so I hope they stay for a while.

My hair is very dark, but I do not have a bob, so you may have got me mixed up with Thomcat!
My hair is quite long & I had straightened it that night.

Oh dear - my next order has arrived ... tried on 3 shrugs and asked DH what he thought. When he had stopped laughing ... he said the lime one looked like the cat had ripped it to shreds, the other two made me look like a granny living in a caravan. Humph!

Well.. actually ... not really! I wanted to like them - the lime one wouldn't have been too bad without the ribbons to tie it up (actually it was more of a cardi). Maybe it was the colours of the other two, red and petrol blue.

Blueteddy, can you do any links to the ones that you like please? Smile

Mine came from Oasis - not sure if you can order from them on line.
Will have a look on a few websites for you though & see if I can find any nice ones.
What were the ones that you ordered like?
