I know it's been posted about on here before but I came across it in another town and thought I'd try it as they don't sell it in my local Superdrug. I bought the 'undressed' eyeshadow palette which is almost exactly the same as the Urban Decay Naked one and seems to be really pigmented so you e lots of colour which stays put all day. I also got some lipsticks and lipglosses. The lipgloss are pretty good and smell fantastic, but the lipsticks are the dogs whatsits! They stay on for hours and look great either applied as a normal lipstick or just dabbed on with a sheer lipgloss over the top - I used Clinique as that seems to have staying power too, and it looked just like a lip stain.

Definitely worth a try :)

The 3 in 1 extreme contour eyeliner pencils are really good - you hold them at different angles to change the thickness of the line. Stay like buggery

MrsMeow · 30/09/2012 15:39

Ah I nearly bought the primer, might give it a go.

Green, I bought a brown one of those, not used it yet though. I assume you just draw a line and colour it in?!

MoominCow, I bought that green/brown colour too. I wore it out last night and was very impressed - stayed on, no flakiness and just a little creasing. It is a really nice colour for smoky eyes - not too green, and a wee bit irridescent.

GreenEyesAndHam · 30/09/2012 15:54

Um well you could do that, but tbh all I do is

? hold it on the point for a really fine straight line
? hold it flat for a medium straight line __
? hold it at a 45 degree angle for thick line that wings out /

I know, clear as mud sorry

MooMinCow · 30/09/2012 16:01

freerangeeggs - it's lovely isn't it, such an unusual colour! I wear it over either Urban Decay primer potion or E.L.F's eyelid primer and both help with the creasing. Wink

OMG loving MUA, bought a nudey beige nail polish, eye palette and their concealer and got 3 lipglosses free - shade 1, 3 and 5 LOVE IT Wink. they all smell lush! and so dam cheap!
thanks for the heads up OP on this range Grin

i actually got excited and tried some bits on (yep on a sunday morning whilst dressed in slob-round-the-house gear) then got my husbof to smell me... i was like smell my eyes / lips. He did then respond by saying no one ever says smell my eye.. Hmm

Yay! My penny pinching make up has the MN seal of approval! I popped into Superdrug today to buy an eye brow pencil. I decided to give the MUA one a whilr for the princely sum of £1 plus a free lip gloss. I also splashed out on the Mosiac blush - English rose for £2.50 and another free lip gloss. I shall be buying a few more bits having just read this thread.

BupcakesAndCunting · 30/09/2012 20:22

I have been to Superdrug today and bought two of the eyeshadow palettes. I love them! They definitely do not look like they cost only £3 and the colours are lovely. Thanks for the tip! :)

ToothGah · 30/09/2012 23:14

Any West Midlands MN-ers after MUA - don't bother trying the Merry Hill store.

The MUA stand is shoved up a corner, it's dirty, skanky and has hand written stickers on the lipstick testers for what shade number they are. There is hardly any stock and no palettes.

I was so bloody disappointed. Did buy three eyeliners in white, black and brown, a nail varnish and a lipstick. The eyeliners are ok (the black is particularly good and really black) the lipstick is a nice colour but doesn't last at all. Haven't tried the nail varnish yet.

I really want to try the eye palettes. Wish I'd have bought some of the single colours they had but will need to find another store.

MrsDmitriTippensKrushnic · 30/09/2012 23:42

Sounds like the MUA stand in the Croydon store... really disappointing, it's been a lot better in the past. I did ask one of the assistants about it and apparently there's a whole new display stand and range due in there within the next week or so, so maybe that's the situation in the Merry Hill store?

BupcakesAndCunting · 01/10/2012 09:37

Yy to the Merry Hill MUA being skanky! I had to go to Wolverhampton! Theres was huge and all shiny. Twas lovely :)

Can you try online, ToothGah?

OddBoots · 01/10/2012 11:15

Thank you for this, I have ordered some (lots of) stuff online, I am visiting the store on 10th for my flu jab but I couldn't risk that they'd sell out!

I bought a gorgeous black with sparkly bits eye pencil just to see if you chaps were lying about how good this was. You weren't, its marvellous. Off to buy some more tomorrow.

Snoozy1 · 01/10/2012 17:25

When they reach 35,000 likes on facebook (MUA, not Superdrug!) they will be giving 35% off everything and free delivery on their website. Smile

Trills · 01/10/2012 17:25

That's practically free.

HalfSpamHalfBrisket · 01/10/2012 17:32

I got the primer, the £3 Palette and a lipstick. As that came to £8, I got a free immaculate collection 24 colour palette, and 3 free lipglosses! Amazing value.
