I know it's been posted about on here before but I came across it in another town and thought I'd try it as they don't sell it in my local Superdrug. I bought the 'undressed' eyeshadow palette which is almost exactly the same as the Urban Decay Naked one and seems to be really pigmented so you e lots of colour which stays put all day. I also got some lipsticks and lipglosses. The lipgloss are pretty good and smell fantastic, but the lipsticks are the dogs whatsits! They stay on for hours and look great either applied as a normal lipstick or just dabbed on with a sheer lipgloss over the top - I used Clinique as that seems to have staying power too, and it looked just like a lip stain.

Definitely worth a try :)

I bought an MUA eyebrow pencil last week and it's great - blendable, stays put and has a brush on the other end. Tempted to try more from the range after reading this thread!

Levantine · 25/09/2012 09:31

Hmm my superdrug didn't have the 'undressed' pallette, will keep checking though

chaosisawayoflife · 25/09/2012 17:20

Thank you for this. I went in today and got 2 lipsticks, a liquid eyeliner, mascara, nail Polish, brow kit, and the palette of 24 eyeshadows for £8.50!

shoeprincess2 · 26/09/2012 10:30

Oh my goodness- how I have not tried this makeup range before? It is amazing. I nipped in yesterday and bought an eyeshadow trio (a distinct lack of palettes on the rack), eyebrow pencil, lipstick, blusher, pressed powder and eyeshadow primer. I also picked up the Superdrug Vitamin E hot cloth cleanser for a fiver and it is absolutely superb. My skin looks very glowy and feels beautifully soft. I have even just been able to put a sweep of MUA pressed powder on my face, in lieu of foundation (and I always use foundation). I have a 3 week old baby so my skin was looking and feeling a bit "meh". I can't believe that for the grand sum of £15, I now look so much better. Thank you mumsnet!!

HeyMicky · 26/09/2012 10:32

The MUA primer is also amazing for the teeny price

MrsMeow · 26/09/2012 11:41

Wow shoe princess, what a haul! I've also tried the Superdrug hot cloth cleanser, it is fab. As is the Tesco one :)

I didn't know they sold primer, I'd have bought one if so.

Yes, and for peanuts too! I was going to spend my £30 Debenhams giftcard on a couple of makeup items. Not anymore!! I fancy a couple more of the lipsticks and blushers (they really do stay on and I have issues generally with lipsticks feathering). I also want to try the eyeliner and bronzer. I am miffed that the undressed eye palette was out of stock. I hope they replenish...

jan2011 · 26/09/2012 12:38

ive bought some online, can't wait to get it now. ive been eyeing the benefits eyebrow kit but haven't bought it yet as can't justify it, so i got this one much cheaper can't wait to try it out, and a lovely pink blusher.

Lottapianos · 26/09/2012 16:20

So excited! Have often walked past the MUA stand in Superdrug but thought it must have been utter rubbish for such low prices Just shows you what a swizz Urban Decay and Nars are if this stuff is just as good for a fraction of the price. Thanks OP Smile

cocolepew · 27/09/2012 17:42

I went in today and everybody else must have been reading this thread! There wasn't much to pick from but I got a shimmery brown eyeshadow for a pound and a free lipgloss! The lipgloss is free with any purchase.

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/09/2012 18:24

Oh great now I have to go back into town tm and buy make up.

I want a blusher,a lipstick and a lip gloss.

Whats good for a pale brunette with no natural flush to her cheeks?

DowagersHump · 27/09/2012 18:29

I have ordered stuff online but it's not arrived yet

cocolepew · 27/09/2012 18:41

If you're not sure on blusher peach is a good colour to go for.

MissBeehivingUnderTheMistletoe · 27/09/2012 18:52

I've got the pewter mono eyeshadow and the waterproof liquid eyeliner - both amazing with fab staying power. Don't rate the nail varnish much it's all chipping off after less than 24 hours.

MarianForrester · 27/09/2012 18:56

I have tried the mascara. It's ok, in that it does not run, but doesn't add great volume/length. Bit natural looking for my liking Grin

But I do love the eyebrow pencil; light one is great colour for me (pale and blonde). And the eyeliners are gorgeous and good and no allergies to any of the products.

Must try an eyeshadow (or two) next....

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/09/2012 19:16

Peach doesn't suit me Sad.

No 3??? For a pale brunette with brown eyes?

This is why I don't wear blusher I mess up buying it.

cocolepew · 27/09/2012 19:24

Excuse me, peach suits everyone I read it in Marie Claire.

Wink
cocolepew · 27/09/2012 19:25

I'm a pale brunette and I use bronzer instead of blusher. If I'm deathly pale I use a red cheek stain.

MrsMeow · 27/09/2012 20:09

"Excuse me, peach suits everyone I read it in Marie Claire." This just made me laugh out loud!!

I didn't know they did mascara. Not that I need any, anyway, but its just so cheap!

I used the top left pale cream eyeshadow from the undressed palette all over my lids today, with the bottom right bluey/grey colour in the crease and under the bottom lash line, and it looked lurvely :)

Have just purchased two eye palettes, the 2 nudey/browny ones, a lip boom thingy, an eyeliner and a blusher for £15 delivered.
Can't believe the prices.

Am a bit overexcited now, had been holding out for funds for Mac.

Has anyone tried the nail varnishes??

MrsMeow · 27/09/2012 20:20

Your friend is beautiful!

I really rate the lipsticks. I've worn shade 2 which is a nice hot pink but not too shocking every day since buying it, and had lots of compliments about it :) I agree with your friend that it can be a bit drying, but I think that's what gives it its staying power and I wear lipgloss anyway. I haven't found that it drys my lips out at all though.
