Sooooo, S&B gurus. I'd like some ideas on make-up storage :)

I'm not a massive make-up fan TBH.
Maybe 5-6 nail products.
2 blusher, a pressed base a bronzer.
Then a few lippies, eyeshadows.
I keep them in a wooden cutlery drawer insert
And my pencils, brushes and mascaras in a glass tumbler

They all live on the chest of drawers, but they keep getting stuff put on top of them (glares at DH)

What do you all use?

Would open baskets be better?
Or lidded boxes? Homesense have some (but DH would still pile his rubbish on them)

I use open baskets, I have one with dividers in that keeps things neat and separate, and I keep it on top of my chest of drawers. also use all available surfaces, windowsills and the top of the loo. I have tons of nail polishes and they're lined up on a small set of shelves.

Anything with lids will just annoy you I think, and the stuff will get taken out and left out.

I use a wooden cutlery divider thingy so that everything is easy to see and kind of organised. With an open box for any bigger items.
These live in the top drawer of my chest of drawers, underneath a mirror.

Another vote for Muji, I use a few storage bits form the office section, still acrylic but no drawers, just open trays, and a pen holder for brushes, mascara etc
