I am going to the end of year university ball. Again.

I am 5'3" and size 16/18. Big norks, fat tummy, nice legs. I don't wear heels. So over the whole ball gown thing. Am afraid I will look like a bit fat ugly frump.

think the underwear would be pretty vital for almost everyone actually ad that sort fo fabirc cna cling to underwear

It should be fine - as I said it sort of pools around your feet - When I wore it I spent most of teh eveing barefoot and sitting on the grass as my legs wr killing me. And if it is too long then just hem it and undo it after.

I've got a spare ball gown too - it's Morgan size 10, but it's in Lancashire and I'm in France! However I can arrange for it to be taken out if anyone needs it. It's strapless and backless, but nicely fitted.
