People have different coloured lips though. So Imight find something lip coloured, whilst someone else would think, eh? Not for me!

I find it impossible to choose new make up online, the images are just not to be relied on IMO.

I tend to buy "natural" lip coloured products. At the minute a Chanel gloss which is about to run out, and a Dior lipstick/moisturising thing.

I'm going to take a peep in Space NK as I think they are doing Stila again?
Otherwise it will be HOF for a big browse!

Mac Bare Again or Chanel Boy.

MoaningMinnieWhingesAgain · 19/06/2012 17:36

Estee Lauder Pure Color in Pinkberry. I had it for my wedding and it is just a slightly pinky/nude but not beigey at all

Msarsebiscuit · 19/06/2012 17:39

Oh yes, I've just remembered, Estee Lauder Crystal Baby too.

Bucharest · 19/06/2012 17:53

I had Chanel Boy on my list of possibles and then read reviews saying it made you look like a corpse. Grin

Off to look at others.

Thankyou!

Clinique almost lipstick. You could try a few shades but black honey is the best seller and is exactly my lip colour.

talkingnonsense · 19/06/2012 17:56

Ah, a pinky nude would not be nude on me- I need raisiny.

AnnaMosity · 19/06/2012 17:58

Dark brunette. For me the go to gloss is Clinique voluptuous violet.
Not violet at all

HMQueenElizabeth · 19/06/2012 18:02

I was also going to suggest Clinique Black Honey.

It's scary to look at but doesn't go on the lips the way it looks as a lipstick IFSWIM.

AnnaMosity · 19/06/2012 18:04

I not like. Too gothy

justtryingtodomybest · 19/06/2012 18:07

I am always on the hunt for the holy grail of a lip coloured lip gloss. Today I bought Mulberry by Stila (they stock it in large Boots) and it seems pretty good. Will reserve judgement until I've worn it with a proper face of make-up

GobblersKnob · 19/06/2012 18:09

I have recently bought this in no72 Soft Sienna and it is gorgeous, cannot tell it is on, yet makes lips just so much nicer. Has a lovely texture too, thogh very slightly odd smell, but only when you apply it after that you don't notice.

nymets · 19/06/2012 18:15

smashbox fig

Clinique Chubby Stick in Bountiful Blush?

shoeprincess2 · 19/06/2012 18:23

Another vote for Clinique Chubby stick in Bountiful blush. In fact, I could quite easily buy about 5 or 6 of their colours. Fuller Fig and Whole Lotta Honey are nice too!

MadameOvary · 19/06/2012 18:28

I love Vaseline Rosy Lips for a moisturing hint. Plus it's cheaper than lipstick.
BUT for an actual match to my lip colour I suggest using one of those photo-editing websites where you click on an area to touch up and it brings up the colour on the screen, then printing it out like a swatch.

I realise this sounds bonkers and have not tried it, but I was quite surprised and the colour my lips were on Photoshop. not that I was using it out of vanity or anything, oh no

TwoIfBySea · 19/06/2012 18:31

Good thread, I used to love Vie In The Buff which was very complimentary when put on. I'm on my last one now so when it's gone that'll be it as Vie are no more. I'm trying to find replacement products for everything now.

noddyholder · 19/06/2012 18:58

Guerlain rouge g in colour 60 is very close but also v expensive. I was given it as a present and its a real luxury as it comes in a stunning case and mirror and it is like your own lips but an intense moisturised version

noddyholder · 19/06/2012 18:59

Ah didn't see money no object would def recommend guerlain then

justabigdisco · 19/06/2012 19:00

Bobbi brown do a thing where they match your natural colour with a swatch and recommend a few shades based on that. Try their website

cherrypieplum · 19/06/2012 19:01

Soap and Glory do very natural shades and they smell and feel amazing.

beachyhead · 19/06/2012 19:04

Bon Bon from Boots 17. Very natural...

early80sgirl · 19/06/2012 19:05

The Kate moss Rommel nude one is fab

early80sgirl · 19/06/2012 19:05

Sorry rimmel

There's a range by UNE which is inspired by the real colour of lips. AFAIK they do a sheer tinted balm type, and a more pigmented lipstick formula too. Here: www.boots.com/en/Une-Lip-Toned-Lipstick_1103101/
