Looking for the ultimate Perfume, the one that genuinely makes you feel nice, people comment upon, it lasts, and is light, and pretty. Anyone ?!

OK, I'll go first: Estee Lauder "Tuberose and Gardenia", perhaps?

nkf · 15/06/2012 19:55

I think Jo Malone perfumes mostly fit that brief.

shrimponastick · 15/06/2012 19:57

Clinique Happy Heart

Smells quite 'rosey' - but not like an old lady perfume.

noddyholder · 15/06/2012 20:06

Aqua di parma Iris nobile is lovely I always get comments when I wear it although have noticed the bees in our garden like it too!

nkf · 15/06/2012 20:07

I've worn Aqua too. It doesn't last much though but it is lovely.

BigusBumus · 15/06/2012 20:14

Chanel Chance. Any version of. They're all summery and light but with a sexy base note.

noddyholder · 15/06/2012 20:16

I find it does last maybe I just over squirt it Grin Paul Smith Rose is lovely too

merlin · 15/06/2012 20:18

Flora by Gucci.

NoVegBeforeHerMej · 15/06/2012 20:19

Viktor and Rolf- Flowerbomb.
Love it a lot!

nkf · 15/06/2012 20:20

I've just read a review of Tuberose and Gardenia. It sounds lovely. I'm going to try it.

KenNEddieKennedy · 15/06/2012 20:22

Chanel Chance, I wore it to work yesterday and today and have had LOADS of comments! The last time that happened I was wearing Liz Earle's Botanics, that's also summery and gorgeous.

fridakahlo · 15/06/2012 20:24

Can I recommend perfumes by Tokyo Milk. They only use essential oils, no synthetic fragrance. The smell does not last very long as a consequence but the bottles are small enough to carry around easily.
They smell wonderful and don't have any of the slightly strange undertones that you sometimes find with the more artificial perfumes.
My two favourites by them are Gin and Rosewater and French Kiss.

TheTeaPig · 15/06/2012 20:29

Paul Smith Rose - get " OMG you smell gorgeous" comments the time .
L'Occitane - Cherry Blossom - summer or Origins Ginger essence- for winter.

TheTeaPig · 15/06/2012 20:30

all the time

FloraFinching · 15/06/2012 20:35

Coco Mademoiselle - rose and jasmine

fluzle · 15/06/2012 20:35

Vera Wang?

Jins · 15/06/2012 20:36

SharonGless · 15/06/2012 21:02

Coco mademoiselle or Chance

Tiredtrout · 15/06/2012 21:12

What merlin said, Gucci flora, smells lovely and I get compliments on it

Eliza22 · 15/06/2012 21:34

Tresor, Lancôme. Don't be put off by the OTT top notes on first spray....they warm to a deliciousness that I, and dh, love.

ooer · 15/06/2012 21:40

I loved Tresor - unfortunately my then-boyfriend read the label as "Trevor" . Consequently every time I wore it he would sniff appreciatively and go "Aaaaah, Trev ..."

I'm currently wearing l'Occitane "Pivoine Rose", it's nice.

Eliza22 · 15/06/2012 21:47

Well, I was always a Paul Smith "Rose" lady. But have taken to the lovely 'Trevor' and now wear most of the time.

cocobongo · 15/06/2012 21:49

i love flower by kenzo- nice floral note, but not too sweet. and not too "girly"- a nice grown up perfume.

ENormaSnob · 15/06/2012 21:53

Estee lauder pleasures.

Cliique happy or happy in bloom.
