Looking for the ultimate Perfume, the one that genuinely makes you feel nice, people comment upon, it lasts, and is light, and pretty. Anyone ?!

J'adore - so pretty and not cloying. I like rose based perfumes otherwise but lots of people, esp DP, aren't as keen. I love the JPG in the pink tin but DP thinks it smells like air freshener!

Clinique Happy or Happy Heart.

Chicinwellies · 15/06/2012 22:34

Ooh interesting. So many to try !

Ooh. Tokyo Milk. That sounds interesting. I tend to get rashes from perfume which is a shame because I love them. But presumably with essential oils, that wouldn't happen.

Northernexile · 16/06/2012 12:24

Stella is floral (rose) but not overpowering, and I also love Daisy by Marc Jacobs. Have had favourable comments on both. Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche is fab too.

I got Laura Ashley green meadow perfume for my birthday ...it's gorgeous!

Mominatrix · 16/06/2012 12:37

Creed's Spring Flowers. I have work this scent for almost 15 years and never tire of it. Floral without being sickly sweet. Very fresh smelling, and not overpowering.

bubble2bubble · 16/06/2012 13:39

Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb - the first perfume I've worn in years that anyone has commented on, although someone did say I smelt like Parma violets which I' m not entirely sure was a compliment..

I've just bought 'plum' by Mary greenwell from eBay for £30, half the rrp.

It's amazingly gorgeous. The seller had a couple more, boxes were damaged.

QuinnFabray · 16/06/2012 19:29

I read the thread title and came on to suggest Mary Greenwell's Plum. It is my favourite perfume ever. So grown up and unique.

Chicinwellies · 17/06/2012 08:20

Ooh will look ar Plum, - I Love the description of Creed but so so pricey.

Fridakahlo- any UK stockists of TokyoMilk?

notjustamummythankyou · 17/06/2012 09:24

I like Prada's Infusion D'iris. It's quite light and flowery when it first goes on, but warms up to smell a bit woody / musky. Lasts for ages too.

Aliceinthelookingglass · 17/06/2012 14:21

One of the Diptyche range? Fig always gets good reviews by Sali Hughes of Guardian fame.

Love, love, love Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb. Came back from holiday yesterday and choose to buy something else at Duty Free for a change - totally kicking myself now!

On UK stockists I have no idea but I guess a quick google would point the way.

anniewoo · 19/06/2012 08:06

Chanel's Jersey - lavender based - lovely

LaurieFairyCake · 19/06/2012 08:11

Fridgepants - It was Ebay's 'tastenirvana'. It was still shrinkwrapped - the box had a dent in it inside. Perfume perfect.
