Do you wear a sunhat?

I've been wearing a straw hat in the garden the last couple of days but wouldn't wear it out. I've always fancied a nice one though especially after seein Rene Russo wearing one in the thomas crowne affair (in fact I love all the syle in that film)

So do you and what kind?

I have a men's straw trilby with a sparkly purple flower hair accessory attached. IN my head it looks super-cool ... when I catch sight of myself in a mirror I realise that ON my head is another matter. Never mind!

Ew to shite stuff

aliportico · 28/05/2012 16:44

I don't wear a sunhat, I just find I get too hot in one. But I hardly ever wear a winter hat either (maybe once a year) so I think I may just have a warm head if such a thing exists.

Enragia - had to google craghoppers - yes yes yes I know Earnest Mum.

Always handing out food, completely unnecessarily, chasing her child around an adventure playground with a tupperware of washed berries and nuts.

Cuts up grapes for her 4-year-old.

Uses hand gel before handing out cereal bars on a train.

You see whole families of them in London, as tourists: 2 adults who are 40-odd and two children of different sexes, all dressed identically style-lessly. You look at the adults and wonder why they are wearing children's clothes, and then you look at the children and wonder why they are dressed like middle aged rambler engineers. the odd thing is that the clothes look so unfeminine on the females, and yet weirdly emasculating on the males.

This btw has nothing to do with sun hats, which are gorgeous, and stylish, and all kinds of both Hepburns
