Gap jeans, i'm normally an 8, do gap come up big or small?

title says it all really. I wear a size 10 in topshop jeans (I am an hourglass) but am an 8 otherwise. I'm looking at their sizing chart and going cross-eyed!

I am a similar size to you - normally a size ten trouser in topshop, oasis etc. I buy a lot of trousers from Gap and buy a size4 for skinny jeans and slim fitting trousers. They fit nicely. However I recently ordered a boyfriend fit chino in a 4 and they fell down! don't think they would have done much for me anyway so didn't bother to exchange, I just returned them.

Gap sizing is terrible. I have two pairs of jeans, same cut, same size on the label. One pair fits (the ones I tried on in the shop), the other drowns me.

They also stretch like crazy with wear - the ones I had on yesterday started out fitting quite well, but I had to go and find a belt at lunchtime because the waist had stretched so far that they were close to falling down.

BUT - despite all the sizing issues, it's worth persevering. They are brilliant if you hit on the right pair

well, I went for a 0. and they have just arrived. tbh, I could have gone with a 00, they are big. but they fit beautifully around my thunder generous thighs, so I can wear a belt!

Ive just found the opposite, my new ones are long and lean and according to the size chart are a 6-8, they are v big on the waist.

I have a tavb open found my perfect boots, but not in my size
