Possibly going out next Friday - eat, drink and possibly dance in Manchester centre - what's trendy, what sort of outfit should I wear?

Heeeelp, style know-it-alls!!

dya know I keep lookign at A line skirts, but can't decide if I would just look frumpy in one. I look good in longer skirts defo, it flatters my curves and makes my waist look smaller.
I do have boots.

I like those cami tops, wore something like that last time I went out. Not sure want to bare arms or not tho.

I think reading might be a better bet. I've never actually been in kew, not sure why as I've seen nice stuff through the window. I think reading might be better. They have long tall sally too, which might be better if I decide to go for a skirt.

I just started to read this thread, as an trendy wannabe.

Harpsichordcarrier, you showed the same link twice, I'm dying to see the next one!

harpsichordcarrier · 04/03/2006 07:35

yes skirts are good
a fairly stiff material is good
I am curvy too, and tend to wear a lot of skirts and boots, with plain camisole on top (you can get two for £10 in m&s) with a shirt on top, either unbuttoned or one button done up over the ahem widest part Smile
have fun, let us know what you get
hc xx

SleepySuzy · 04/03/2006 07:38

I LIKE that! Was worth waiting for. Fancy being my personal shopper too?

Kelly1978 · 04/03/2006 07:40

monsoon have def got some lovely skirts. found the one you were saying about. I've decided I def want a skirt now! Grin

I don't normally worry as much, but I'm meeting dp's bro for the first time and want to make a good impression. We've been together three years now but he's Indian and his family were against the relationship so we've never met. I HAVE to make a good impression as none of them have seen me and they'll all find out what I'm like from this meeting. Scary!

Kelly1978 · 04/03/2006 07:41

I do like that twin set. per Una do some lovely clothes. I can spend a fortune if I start in there!

harpsichordcarrier · 04/03/2006 07:49

of course sleepysuzy Smile
best of luck kelly, sorry to hear about your dp's family. hope it goes well

Kelly1978 · 04/03/2006 07:59
