Easy to do up necklaces? Magnetic clasps etc?

I have nail extensions (v beautiful, but quite useless) which made doing up necklaces rather fiddly! I have a Pandora necklace with a barrel clasp which is brilliant, but I would really like a few others that are of a similar ilk.

My friend has a lovely silver choker style necklace which fastens together by one end sliding into the other end by quite a few inches (in a female/male kind of way!) but she bought it from a London street seller some years back and can't remember where! That sort of thing would be perfect, but I've never seen anything else kike it.

My mum has a pearl necklace (ahem) which fastens with two really strong magnetic barrels which would be perfect, but I don't really want a pearl one and I can't find anything similar anyway!!

Can anyone find me a lovely necklace which is easy to put on? How daft does that sound-I'm too ineffectual to even put on a necklace! Maybe I should just have the nails taken off...

I bought so e magnetic jewellery clasps from qvc for my nan. They attatch to any necklace and make it easy to put on. I can't find them on the site. Maybe look on eBay. They are really good. I fancied some for the same reasons as you.

Agree about QVC

I went to a local jeweller and was Shock at the price of getting more manageable fastenings put on a couple of nice necklaces.

Ooh, that's a good idea-I will have a look. Thank you!

I wonder what on earth clasp on the the wire choker necklace my friend had was called!?
