What sort of earrings do you wear?

I tend to wear the same teeny silver studs all the time and fancy a change but I'm not quite sure what to go for. None of my friends seem to even have pierced ears so I can't gather any ideas there!

What do you wear and where did you get them from??!

I have three piercings in my ears (former goth emoticon). Every day I wear a pair of platinum and diamond drop earrings. They have three solitaire and two baguette diamonds each and are just beautiful. They were a 30th birthday present from DH (from back in the pre-DD days when we both had good jobs!). I love them so much and feel naked without them. In my left ear I also wear two small diamond solitaire studs most days.

Yes, I have 3 holes in one ear and 5 the other-from my indie child days and tend to just wear tiny things but have struggled making the transition to what I consider 'grown up' earrings! Yours sound lovely though!

I wear chunky costume jewellery earrings. Mostly studs.

I have white gold and diamond studs in. Have worn them for about 18 months since DH bought them for me.

I have two holes in each ear. Since I had the dc I mostly wear non dangly earrings as they just get pulled

Lately I've been wearing small (fake) pearl studs and it the second hole diamanté studs. If I had the money I would wear diamond studs

Hinged hollow silver sleepers about 15mm diameter, quite thick. A bit boring but they go with any clothes, any hairstyle, no thought required. I'd like a set of diamond studs but DH keeps failing to get the hint. I have got quite a few other pairs but rarely wear them.

I am the earring girl. I wear whatever goes with what I am wearing, have lots of costume earrings and semi-precious stones but no diamonds. My favourites are little dangly hearts on silver rings that the DCs got me a few years ago and a pair of silver daisies. I have 2 holes per ear and the top hole usually has a silver stud or a small ring in it. I only use the bottom hole to change what I wear each day.
My only problem is that I always have to swap the hooks on costume earrings for silver ones as the cheap metal ones make my ears itchy and sore. But that's easy with a pair of jewellery pliers. I often take my earrings apart and invent new ones using random bits and pandora-style beads.

I only have one pair that I can wear every day which are white gold cubic teardrop studs. I have some really lovely gold earrings that DH has brought me in the past sadly I cannot wear them for long due to allergies to gold and silver :(

Boring, I know, but I have a great mane of long curly hair that I always wear down so can't wear costume earrings or anything dangly as they tangled up! Oh, and no-one would notice if changed them!

Can I recommend the heart charm earrings from Whistles?
They are perfect for day or evening, and I always get lots of compliments when I wear these!

Silver Tiffany balls. Medium sized, ie larger than studs but not golfball size
I have loads if others that I tend to wear with specific outfits or on special ocassions.
But I always go back to my tiffanys the next day

lots of dangly earrings (not a la pat butcher), but have v v short hair - wear studs if wearing necklace. Only wear rings otherwise, not many bracelets/earrings
(have loads as sell Stella & Dot, but have always had loads)

Gold hoops mainly.

I have loads of earrings - I tend to go for "tasteful" ones and I choose them to go with my outfit. Mostly silver colour as that suits my skintone - I tend to think you either suit silver or gold but that could just be my own family. (Mother wears only gold because of allergies.)

Favourite everyday pair are kindof a stylised grain shape; also have
teeny dragonflies,
shell shapes,
coloured stones,
beautiful deep blue glass discs on silver rings,
cascading butterflies [love these but still haven't worn them - they need an event],
big silver discs,
silver danglers - like intertwining stems and leaves, some have pearls in them,
earrings made from old crockery and a necklace to match.

I tend to get mine from "unusual" gift shops and art/craft galleries.

My favourite pair at the moment are these fake gauge ones.

I also have 3 holes in my left ear, and have an opal stud that we got at an opal mine in Australia, and a small silver Celtic style stud, don't know where I got it. I rarely change these, and when I do I keep the same one for ages.

platinum diamond studs. DH bought them on my 27th birthday and I love them. Rarely take them out, except to clean them. They go with everything.

I have 6 holes in one ear and 3 in the other. The very top one is a small steel ring with the gem from my ex belly button hole. The others, apart from the bottom holes in each ear are tiny silver studs, almost small enough to get pulled through by accident if I'm careless when towel drying my hair! The bottom holes are currently inhabited by silver Tiffany heart studs. It's fairly unusual for me to remember to put earrings in at the bottom.

Depends on my mood and hair style - I collect them and have over 110 pairs ranging from grandmas antique pearls to flashy silk laminate with beads...so much to play with am admittedly a bit obsessed!

My day-to-day ones at the moment are some lovely hammered looking silver squares (studs) from Dower and Hall.

I mostly wear studs, I have a beautiful pair of diamond studs that DH bought me when we got married which I would wear all the time except that DS2 has taken to grabbing my ears and I don't want to lose them!

I have some lovely pearl studs, and I am really hankering after some black pearls but I am waiting until I can have a matching necklace at the same time otherwise I won't wear them very often.

I wear chunky silver hoops most day. They are gorgeous. I change my earrings if I go out.
