What sort of earrings do you wear?

I tend to wear the same teeny silver studs all the time and fancy a change but I'm not quite sure what to go for. None of my friends seem to even have pierced ears so I can't gather any ideas there!

What do you wear and where did you get them from??!

Anything from tiny emerald studs to long dangly costume ones. Various shell and ethnic ones.I can't really wear long floaty skirts like I did as a student, but my earrings still hint at being a bit less boring than jeans.
Earrings tend to remind me of people and places rather than having any intrinsic value.

Hmmm, some lovely ideas here-I need to go shopping!

Where can I get some decent silver hoops that aren't thin and rubbish (ie all the ones I've had from Argos!)?
