t shirts for 15 quid... as I've always liked the bags but never had one, I'm hoping to get a t shirt or two... is it going to sell out straight away a la designers @H&M? or can I go to bed and shop at my leisure tomorrow? not sure if it goes on sale at midnight but it says from 19/3. I like it & its very affordable, but what do you super stylish types think?

You can go to bed and shop tomorrow; will not be crazy like H&M. Although shop tomorrow as best pieces will go out of stock quickly.

dexter73 · 19/03/2012 09:17

I've just ordered a couple of t-shirts, a couple of scarves and a pair of slippers.

OllieinOrange · 19/03/2012 09:34

The scarf I wanted sold out within mins - I had it in my basket, went for a nose at the rest of the range and puff, it was gone. So annoyed - with myself!

mirpuppet · 19/03/2012 09:34

Two pieces I liked either never were in stock or had very low stock as one shows not available the other only available in XS.

dexter73 · 19/03/2012 10:03

Wow! Just went back to have another look and everything I bought has now sold out. I suppose it was always going to be popular at those prices.

dexter73 · 19/03/2012 10:05

And guess what? It is now all on Ebay.

pocketandsweet · 19/03/2012 10:12

How totally frickin' frustrating! I just got back from walking dd to school to find everything gone...l I refuse to buy things from EBay at stupid prices.I wish everyone else would too and then these irritating people would be stuck with their stock and the rest of us who want to buy one or two things in our size would be able to have some.

teejwood · 19/03/2012 10:17

like ollie there were several scarves in my basket - a couple sold out while i was checking out and i had remove them from my basket so i could proceed, by which time another scarf had sold out, so i had to do the same again, by which time a vest top sold out, so... (you get the picture)
i did finally manage to get a shirt, one scarf , tunic/dress, vest top and couple of t-shirts.

can't believe how quickly everything went, though, and quite depressing it's all going on ebay rather than to OK fans who actually want to wear the clothes rather than just make a quick buck.
still, getting that little haul for less than the price of an OK shirt/dress in the normal range is fab - if it fits!!!

teejwood · 19/03/2012 10:18

should possibly note - i had my colours done earlier this year and am still at novice stage with working out the "right" tones while online shopping, hence the massive ordering/returning!!!

Levantine · 19/03/2012 11:12

There is a lot in stock in Uniqlo in Oxford Street if that helps anyone.

daenerysstormborn · 19/03/2012 11:14

i just got a vest top. as with others, the scarf i liked was sold out before i could buy, but got one off ebay from japan for not much more than the uniqlo price.

mintymellons · 19/03/2012 11:31

I put my OH on the case when he got to work at 9am as I knew I'd be on school run then!! I got the two t shirts I wanted. Well, he said he'd ordered them so fingers crossed!

heliumballoon · 19/03/2012 15:18

Yes, still lots of stock of vests, tshirts and slippers in Oxford St store an hour ago. No scarves though grrrrrr.

Levantine · 19/03/2012 16:02

I didn't buy any of it, but there were people buying piles and piles of them. Seems a bit mean doesn't it

teejwood · 19/03/2012 18:02

levantine was it not as nice in rl - fabric/colours not as good? or just not your kettle of fish?

mirpuppet · 19/03/2012 19:49

I went to Oxford Street and IMO the quality was OK for the price.

The scarves are 100% polyester nice patterns not made to last. I purchased a couple and will return I didn't have enough time to decide which colours.

I purchased a couple of tunics (as I need to figure our which goes with items I already own and will return the rest). I thought the cotton although nice was very thin.

I liked the button down shirts thicker cotton but they did not look good on me I need a bit of stretch in a bitton down.

Most people were going through the tee shirts I don't wear them often so didn't really exam.

The dresses are enormous -- I predict they will be on the sale rack.

nopressure · 19/03/2012 20:24

How much were the scarves? They are at least £13 on eBay, and I wouldn't mind buying one but don't want to feel ripped off!

ameliagrey · 19/03/2012 20:31

why would anyone want to wear something with such an identifiable pattern on it? they are such a cliche.

teejwood · 19/03/2012 20:55

nopressure the scarves were £9.90 each, before delivery.

mir thanks for the update on quality/sizes. I've had an email to say that my order has been despatched so look forward to seeing how everything measures up when it arrives.

amelia is it really any more identifiable than boden, though, or missoni's zigzags? i don't think i bought anything with the trademark stem print (partly because the things i wanted sold out so quickly!) or car or tea prints come to think of it, so none of it will scream OK in the high street.

dexter73 · 19/03/2012 21:23

Less of a cliche than the MN scarf!

nopressure · 19/03/2012 21:28

Thanks teej

frankie76 · 19/03/2012 22:03

All gone on line :-(

teejwood · 19/03/2012 23:04

frankie if you keep an eye on the site some pieces might come back into stock as people return items. there might be a lot of mediums back in stock when i get my delivery, if that helps Wink

teejwood · 19/03/2012 23:05

dexter quoted for truth!

no problem, nopressure

heliumballoon · 20/03/2012 00:48

The vests are incredibly unflattering if you are large of nork or tum. Something to do with the busy prints, thin fabric and the flapping A line cut. I bought three and they're all going back. Pity as I adore the prints.
