So those who wear day dresses often...

I am keen to wear more dresses, have been rotating a couple of knitted day ones recently but am getting a bit bored. Am a curvy, busty 14 with a toddler - anyone in same boat and manage to pull off the ultra feminine stylish day dress and where are yours from?

The French Connection dresses barely cover my ass and don't seem to suit people with a defined waist. However, I've since invested in a number of cinch belts (if you go on eBay and search for 'square dance belt' - no, really - you'll see the kind of thing I mean) and they are a godsend if you need something with more shape.

cOS is another shop I don't even try because they look like they're designed for very straight figures. Where do you curvy girls get your day dresses? I'm a 34GG so obviously empire lines and those with the stitched 'cups' are out.

OK, so I would love to wear more dresses but am a very tummyish size 16. Think 4 months pg if I breathe in and 8 months if I forget. I am tall with good legs but not great arms. Big shoulders. Not much of a waist.

Gosh, I am such a catch!

Anyway, which of the shops/designs above would work for me please??

Please stop bumping these zombie threads Mumsnet. It is so annoying. Thank you!

Love summer dresses, this year I’ve bought from jigsaw, Oliver Bonas, Hobbs and Whistles.

Winter dresses I find harder other than knitted dresses, any suggestions?
