What do you wear in bed? (And don't say "Nothing".)

I am so ashamed of my rather pathetic collection of pyjamas, they're ancient and shapeless and bleurgh colours (ie grey/blue). I feel so unattractive when I crawl under the duvet.

I actually like the idea of a nightdress but they all seem to be either red and black sateen and very small (chilly!), or like something Grandma Walton would wear.

For the love of God, can someone help me?

A rather cosy stripey long nightie, not quite grandma Walton, but not too far off!

I had a thread like this a little while ago and someone advised me to just buy a cotton jersey dress.

So now I have a nice white Gap summer dress from this January's sales, and am looking forward to all the cheapo shops doing some jersey maxi-type dresses in a few months.

A rather wrinkled pink onesie with white stripey bits across my abdomen.
Needs ironed. And let out in some bits. Taken in at other bits.

The problem with those onsies are if you stretch them they never quite get back to their original shape

How do you wee/shag in a onesie?

pyjamas, bed socks, dressing gown. all things that prevent dh getting anywhere near me

I have a few of pairs of black PJ'S so I can mix and match them, but they still look ok ish.

i have 3 of these, and wear a clean one every night, I love them.

Currently tartan pj bottoms and a cream top. I also have some fleece pj's and they are heaven

I shop at the same place as LordOfTheFlies but have the XL version, less wrinkles, more rolls

M&S had some nice nightwear in pre christmas. Worth a look?

Don't pyjamas get all twisty and annoying? I just can't bear the sensation of clothes in bed. I love pyjamas though - for lounging about in, but they have to come off in bed.

I've started investing in pijamas: Hush and John Lewis, also got a limited collection m&s number last week!

Yes JasperJohns - I agree, pyjamas are a nightmare in bed! I am either naked or in one of my 2 (11year old) Mothercare maternity nighties

Nightshirts, but they're more like long v-neck T-shirts, the older and more washed-out the better. But then I am very single.

I wear nighties like a long t-shirt. Can't stand pyjamas as they annoy my legs.

Nighties, silk or cotton. I can't stand pyjamas or anything long sleeved in bed. I usually get them from la senza.

just got my hush today, absolutely lovely, (and I never thought I would wear button up flannel pjs again.........)
