Are you all nursing hangovers or just clearing up the post Christmas mess?

I'm still on for Friday, might not be there for 6pm on the dot, but will be staying for dinner, for sure.

I've just returned from a Pampered Chef party (ooh, the thrill). I spent rather more money than I would normally, partly because the person doing the selling is a very old aquaintance and totally lovely lady who has recently started her new venture, and partly because I really wanted one of those mini choppers, so I can blitz onions, nuts etc painlessly. We did have a small electric blender thing, but DH managed to liquidise a large chunk of plastic innards into the casserole he cooked at the weekend so it no longer works properly (I kept picking out these toenail-y things and wondering what the hell he'd done). He can't break a Pampered Chef mini chopper!

That's a shame Orangina. And MI, make sure you are better for TOMORROW!

Sorry ladies, I'm not going to make it tonight. Dh has to interview someone after work and I have to be in Wimbledon with ds1 at 8am tomorrow for his final exam, so I think it's just too much to try and fit in. Wish I could see you all, but have a drinkie for me and I will be first to the bar for the next Crepey gathering.

Sorry ladies I am a no show too. Mum isn't well so looking after her. Was hoping she would perk up today, but laid low with the nasty cold. Have fun all...

Another marvellous evening, once I'd remembered where I was going. So far don't feel too hungover, but the day is yet young. Didn't speak to the other end of the table much - we'll have to do it again to remedy that omission!
