Right; need to get a black leather, cross body, largish handbag as a Christmas present for my mum.

It needs to be under £100.

The only ones I've seen so far that she'd like are this and this and they are over budget.

No sorry, I haven't bought an Ollie and Nic bag so can't vouch for them. I was surprised how few reasonable sized, black across body bags that looked decent there were out there.

Have you had a look on the Modalu site as they have reasonable quality bags for your budget and have a sale on atm here. Some come with a detachable shoulder strap which if it is anything like the one on the Modalu Pippa bag, will go cross body.

Oh Mme, thank you- The Osprey one is a possible, but am worried it may be too big? Shit. This is complete toss. Now all I can think of is the Sara Berman one. I should have bought it before linking it on here, it's my own fault.

Yes the irritating tossers - if it had been at the reduced [rice in black that would have been problem solved. Have to say though, that I am rather drawn to the ink version and it is at a good price.......!

Tuscany Leather - it is only 100 euros.

I have bought a few handbags from them in the past and the leather is really really soft, so it is worth checking the rest of their collection too.
