I am waiting for the next set of reductions. I was also disappointed that there was little if anything reduced in the current maternity section, although I might just settle for the stuff I have now. However, I think that the stripy maternity Ts for £9 are excellent value, if anyone is newly up the duff and will be in need of summer Ts.

Dancergirl · 13/12/2011 09:15

Luckily for dd (her school party is tomorrow!) my parcel has arrived today.

I am sort of going off Boden as well but it does depend what it is. I am certainly going off the very brightly coloured loud prints. But some of their plain knitwear is lovely. I bought the cashmere wrap in black a while ago with 30% off - still expensive but it's so lovely I had to keep it. And most of their jersey tops are great.

Mini Boden do some nice stuff too but I only buy with at least 20% off or in the sales. The quality does last and with 3 dds everything gets well worn. My dds love their nighties.

slalomsuki · 13/12/2011 09:24

I ordered on Sunday and am waiting for even a despatch notice.

Ordered a pair of patent wedge boots....... A first for me from Boden, a skirt......,.. another first and a couple of dresses for dd.
Wasn't much in the sale for ds though in his size.

QueeferSantaland · 13/12/2011 09:42

A couple of dresses and some trousers for DS. Will probably send the dresses back-I've put on a lot of weight recently and everything looks bad on me. I'm also slightly wary of Llyocel since the last dress I got from them became holey after a few wears.

snailsontour · 13/12/2011 10:37

mine is in the depot - fingers crossed it's loaded on the van for delivery today:)

polyhymnia · 13/12/2011 10:45

Just ordered the retro knit tunic - a bargain at £23 for pure merino!

TwoIfBySea · 13/12/2011 12:07

It's my birthday on Sunday (40 FFS) and I was going to treat myself to a red favourite satchel. Didn't realise the sale was on and there isn't one left! :(

Bet there all on eBay for three times the price.

Does anyone know anywhere that sells something similar? Feel ridiculously upset as it was going to be my little treat after a particularly trying year!

TwoIfBySea · 13/12/2011 12:07

*They're

dottyaboutstripes · 13/12/2011 12:20

Keep checking - when things are returned, they are put back on. Hope you get one

KandyBarr · 13/12/2011 12:54

'Romantic' silk top in khaki; skinny cords in fig. Both sitting in the depot, probably with snails's stuff.

Northernlurker · 13/12/2011 13:09

The navy satchel was left out of the sale so you could get that with 10% off two? Or wait and see if they add it?

scarlet76 · 13/12/2011 14:30

My scarf and cardigan arrived today. The wool scarf is useless - thin, cheap fabric that will not keep me warm. So back that goes! The chelsea cardigan in rasin is a keeper though. Slightly long on me as only 5ft but will look nice belted over tunics and dresses. The sparkle is very subtle which I am pleased about.

katkitya · 13/12/2011 14:46

It's strange how some of it was cheaper only a couple of weeks ago with the 25% off than it is in the sale.

scarlet76 · 13/12/2011 15:10

That's very true of the men's shirts KatKitya - DH loves a Boden shirt but tends to wait for the sales. Anway, had a 30% off code the other week and got him 2 with that. Both have hardly been reduced in the sale so the 30% code was a far better deal.

katkitya · 13/12/2011 15:35

I know. It's for a large percentage of the stock. Doesn't seem right, somehow.

ujjayi · 14/12/2011 15:47

My Johnnie B heart tee arrived today. Really lovely and looks great layered over long sleeve tee with skinny jeans. Not sure what the union jack scarf looks like as it is part of my "stocking" so DH won't let me see it!

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 14/12/2011 17:30

Glad you like it ujjayi, I have ordered that too and the pear oneGrin

I am really liking Johnnie B stuff atm, I got the duffle today and it is lovely, very pleased.

ujjayi · 14/12/2011 22:32

WTWTA I liked the pear one too but decided I couldn't deal with DH's inevitable childish sniggerings......!

I have a few things from Johnnie B. I love the red skinnies I bought from there 2 years ago when it first launched. They are still looking fab and I have worn them loads.

scarlet76 · 15/12/2011 07:49

Those who buy from johnnie b range. How do the sizes work out? if I am an 8 -10. Would I be medium or large??
well the cashmere tank in fig arrived yesterday but too big. This is probably a good thing as I have spent enough recently.

amy321 · 15/12/2011 09:13

Well - I have been very good and only ended up keeping a couple of things. My main love was the cosy parka which is slightly snug fitting, but its the perfect length and look so its a definite keeper.

I couldn't justify keeping 2 coats, so am having to send back the parade coat which was also very nice indeed but still £125 in the sale! If it had been slightly cheaper I may have kept it.

The cardi's I ordered are also going back as they weren't quite right for me - and the leopard clutch - tho gorgeous - I sadly don't go out enough to warrant buying it!

Kids stuff was perfect - the star fleecy anorak for DS and spotty velvet coat for DD. Grin

katkitya · 15/12/2011 09:45

Are the spotty velvet coats aimed at younger girls. I would love to get my nieces one but, they are 10 and 11 and I think they would turn their noses up. Are they warm?

amy321 · 15/12/2011 21:12

katkitya its obv not as warm as, say the duffle, but I was pleasantly surprised as it was thicker than I had expected. I got the grey version and its really, really cute!
