I am keep checking periodically much to the intense unhappiness of my poorly two year old.... who seems to think this is not a good use of my time when I rather should be on 24 hour snuggle duty.....

If anyone notices it up leave a message and please don't buy all the cotton nightgowns before I can get one.

It must be soon surely. ds finishes school tomorrow and I am sure it was before the end of term last year.

Johnnie usually sends an email to say the shop will be shut on a particular afternoon. Which means they are preparing the sale. Haven't had one yet though.

Maybe they are trying a different strategy this year with their recent big discounts. Silly though because people will just spend their money elsewhere first and have no money left for Johnnie.

The discount code seems to have expired so maybe today? I'm not sure why I'm anticipating this so much as there isn't anything I want other than the kids' stuff. Must just be a 'sale rush' that I'm craving Grin.

I too have been drumming my fingers impatiently for the sale...not sure why as will probably send most of it back.
Want to see my basket? I know it will empty before the sale, but I like to remind myself what I am after.

Think I am pregnant though,so may have to scrap that and go for the maternity!

I rang yesterday and she said she didn't know exactly but to keep an eye from now until beginning of next week. Not massively helpful, I know!

Someone on FB said it won't be today! :( Very odd, been Friday (or late Thursday) for at least past 4 years! Not sure now but their shops are shut Sunday for 'reshuffle'!

woopsidaisy I bought those boots recently and then saw the very similar boots my sister had got from M&S for about £50. I was a bit Xmas Envy.

On the website loads of stuff was marked down all day yesterday and this morning. e.g. something I've got my eye on was £125 down to about £93. Now prices are back up to full price again.???

Thanks ellengirl, I have actually done two tests already,and both negative! But no sign of my period still,and it took a week or more after my period was due to get positive tests with other DC. Will try again next week!
sue52, I'm not actually after those boots, they are just lurking at the bottom of the page,Grin.
No way would I pay that for those boots,as like your sis I know you can get very similar for a fraction of the price. But I'm sure your look fab!

There was a 25% off offer running which expired last night but ran over till this morning but it has been taken off now - that is why the prices were marked down. People are expecting the sale Monday now I think but who knows?!

Right, Johnnie has just emailed me to say the shop is closed on Sunday ready for the sale staring at 9.30am Monday.

Could start online anytime - my guess is 4pm Sunday.

Tbh I think boden are missing a trick here by starting sale so late. I have spent lots of my Christmas pennies in M&S where there have been some v generous discounts. Lots of other stores have had money off too.

I have also filled my basket with things I wouldn't mind getting in the sale. The cashmere tank in fig or navy stripe, the fun scarf in rasin, leopard print flats.
A stripe shirt for dh.
Anything very good value for DD and ds.

Surprise, surprise - the USA sale has started! Grrrh - now the americans will pinch the pick and Johnnie will say that we all had our chance with 30% off last week. I am so cross with Boden. By leaving it late there's going to be very little chance of people getting stuff, sending it back and getting the replacement before Christmas. If the weather turns bad there's a chance you won't get stuff at all!
