I am keep checking periodically much to the intense unhappiness of my poorly two year old.... who seems to think this is not a good use of my time when I rather should be on 24 hour snuggle duty.....

If anyone notices it up leave a message and please don't buy all the cotton nightgowns before I can get one.

Now I'm no great Boden fan but traditionally they are "January" sales and until the last 2 or 3 years you couldn't buy much that was reduced before Christmas at all. If we can get something cheaper before Christmas that is a bit of a bonus to me, though most of the Boden stuff is so boring this year I can't think there will be much to interest me unless he is giving it away.

I thought the US sale always starts first. Also I'm not sure its the same "stock" often there are items available on the US site that have sold out in the UK.

What happens if you put things in your basket and then the sale starts? Do they automatically go down to the reduced price (hopeful)?

Actually having looked through there isn't very much at all I want unless it is dramatically reduced, but DS loves the checked cargo trousers so I may stock up on them ( DH hates DS wearing them so may need to sneek them in)

Rookiemater - they usually empty the basket the night before it starts- it's one of the signs that the sale is imminent.

In my experience they empty all baskets when sale starts.

I don't know if you have bought this years checked cargo trousers rookiemater but they are really big around the waist.

I ordered some for ds1 and had to send them back as they fell down. Lots of their boys trousers seem to be larger around the waist this season. Fine for stocky ds2 but no good for lean ds1.

I have my eye on a scarf.....that's it! I got one 25% off and it's so lovely would like another. Have to wait and see what the discount is.

We already have a pair doyouthinktheysaurus (by the by we have a mug with your name on it). DS is quite stocky he isn't fat but has long body and shortish legs and loves wearing the cargo trousers because they are really easy to put on and comfy to wear.

The Boden scarfs are lovely I bought the safari print silk one earlier in the year and wore it loads over the summer.

Johnnie has sussed that I have never bought anything full price. I always ask for a discount in the shop too .

I did buy a hoodie for DS2 this week, with a 25% off code and I'm glad I did because it's out of stock in that colour/size now.

for once, I don't care because there is absolutely nothing I want. I have returned every single item this season except the waxed biked jacket or whatever it's called.

This year I have bought mainly from The White Company- nice tunic and 2 wool dresses, and White Stuff for a pair of trousers and a nice waistcoat cardi thing, and a gorgeous coat from Jigsaw.
