I want to warn you about using H&M Online

Myself and several other people I know have had very bad experiences with the new H&M online shop. Deliveries are late (two weeks plus) and they send you text messages to tell you it will be delivered 'within 48 hours'. In my case and another friend's case, this didn't happen- it was over a week after the text message before the delivery arrived. However if you're not there to accept the order, you must pay £9 for re-delivery. Customer service responded to my complaint by sending me a link to their latest collection and telling me they made several attempts to deliver the order. (Not true). If you need anything in a hurry, or are ordering presents etc, I would advise you to look elsewhere or go to an actual shop. The stress and hassle is not worth it.

I've ordered loads online recently.Yes.there are sizing issues and it's often difficult to know what size to order .However the swift arrival and returns and refunds are now fantastic and could put many other shops to shame.

They are so much better these days. So if you're reading H&M bods, well done. Speedy and efficient and they even refund postage which I never expect.

H&M offer click and collect to hermes collection points, so all my H&M deliveries go to my local 24h corner shop - as do my Boden, Next and Lakeland orders. They have a whopping pile of packages behind the counter! The Budgens 5 mins away has House of Fraser and ASOS packages, whilst my Amazon packages go to the Londis that's 2 mins from my front door. I love click and collect! I used to have to get everything delivered to work and then schlepp packages home on the tube. Most people aren't in during the day so it's so much more sensible than couriers coming with deliveries to houses with no one to receive them

MaQueen, have you or your daughter spoken to H&M about the problem she had? If not, it's hardly fair to complain here about it!

poster FeiYenKansu you are very lucky - When i asked them to resend the order I never received they refused and said I had to place a new order as their systems can't do it. And when I did place the new order it was never processed and they didn't even bother to track it. 7 days later, I had to write to them to find out what had happened. They have not called me once, you know. They keep saying they are "unable to reach me" - nonsense, and writing back to apologize and offer me their useless voucher.

If their sizes were consistent or indeed anyway resembled the sizing of 95% of the rest of the high street then I'd order from them online but as they don't and you have to scrutinise each item for fit ignoring the label there is literally no point buying online from them.

Who cares if it's fair?
