My Phase Eight Verity Dress (in oyster) is too big for me *sob*

....it's the most flattering dress in the world and I adore it but after trying it on for the 5th time I must concede it's far too big for me. Im a 16 and bought an 18 as its all I could get my hands on.

So anyway, before I ebay is there somewhere on MN I can advertise it for sale? As its a MN favourite dress I thought Id try here before ebay.

Eagle, dont think I havent thought of that....they are generously sized you see, Im a 16 on top, 14 on the bottom so its way big at my waist and hops. Gutted as its the most flattering dress Ive ever bought. Cant get a smaller one for love nor money!

Anyone know if there is a selling place on here?

Gilly - There was a Verity dress in size 16 on Ebay a few weeks ago. I didn't keep an eye on it, but think someone was selling for £40.

The one I saw on Ebay was labelled Verity Dress though, think she would of had more interest if she had !

Gutted for you, I agree THE most flattering dress I have ever owned.

Oh that's gorgeous...I'm a size 18 and would gladly buy it...but funds too low this month :(

oo that's lovely. But sadly the colour does nothing for me. It drains the life out of me. If it was dark red on the other hand, I'd buy it (even thought it's the wrong size for me too :o)

I have a recipe for some fabulously gooey chocolate brownies if that helps at all. I've eaten half a tray and have gone up a size already.

North - Ive had a look on ebay there is a 12 and an 8 on there. Both used. Bids at £64 already with still a day to go. Am sure it will go well on ebay as its BNWT , just know its popular on here so wanted to try MN first.

Oh I didn't realise it came in red

I can't wear anything remotely beige, earthy, brown tones. Grey and green yest, but browns no. I'm a perfectly average mousey person. odd isn't it?

head the red one is very dark IRL, almost a wine colour.

OP - have you tried the Cognac colour here. Size 16 still in stock. I have a 16 in the red and I think its too big but the 14 is out of stock. I may go for the cognac one (if a 14 fits)
