Are dresses the way forward?

I don't enjoy buying clothes that much. I buy separates I like, but can never seem to find the top to go with the bottom and vice versa.

I have had a revelation today that dresses are the way forward. Cheaper than separates, easy to wear etc.

Does anyone have anything they would recommend for everyday school run type stuff. I am 5'8" size 12-14 but with broad shoulders, so sometimes size 16, flat chested! I suit brightish colours - I have brown hair and grey blue eyes.

I absolutely love dresses. Have worn pretty much just dresses for years now. The only other thing I wear is long cardis/jumpers with leggings, sometimes shorts over the leggings. I don't own any jeans, and only 1 tshirt which I wear with a skirt!
I tend towards more 50's style dresses, with shrugs or cardis. I absolutely love this dress dollydagger.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=DDDRS4REDWHT&cat=26 I am 26, 5ft 2, was a size 14, gone up to a 16 at the minute. I have generous boobage, and am generally in proportion (apart from chunky thighs grrr!). Fitted around the boobs, narrowed waist, flaring out to a full skirt is the absolute most flattering for me! I do have a few other styles, but absolutely won't wear anything that is high neck! They just don't suit me! Or anything that clings anywhere near the tum!
Dresses rawwwwwk!!

Lec0rnsillk... It comes to my knee, maybe just under. I am 5ft 3. You still need a daft card to shop there.... Grin

Can I just add as a note to dress designers - side seam pockets that sit proudly on your saddlebags are a Very Bad Idea.
