I use Boots Botanics. It always on three for two and its under a fiver a bottle. Its a bit oily, but its kind on my eyes and have been using it for years.

ViolaTricolor · 28/09/2011 15:02

Yep, the Botanics oily one is good. The No7 one is similar and I slightly prefer it. It's £7.75 but you can get it when they have those £5 vouchers. It comes in a pump bottle which is less faff than the Botanics screw top.

bibbitybobbityhat · 28/09/2011 15:05

Body Shop. Its perfect (and non-oily).

Gingefringe · 28/09/2011 15:06

Agree with the No7 one - I usually stock up when they have those £5 vouchers as well.

The Body Shop camomile remover for sensitive eyes is also excellent.

mollymole · 28/09/2011 16:05

body shop - huge bottle lasts for ages and it is good for sensitive eyes

tethersend · 28/09/2011 16:12

Best one by far IMO is Olay. It's a cream instead of an oil and gets every bit of mine off.

And I do like a fair bit of eyeliner Wink

MrsSeanBean · 28/09/2011 16:16

Vichy Purete Thermale - blue bottle - £9 from Boots - excellent stuff. (They often have 3 for 2 offers when I stock up.)

MooMinCow · 28/09/2011 17:51

with waterproof mascara I think the oily 'two phase' removers (where you shake to combine) are best.

bourjois do a blue one in massive bottle for under fiver (or could get it in current 3 for 2 cosmetics at Boots)

Garnier do one in a big bottle too, not specific for eyes but works great on mascara. under £4 I think.

Failing that, baby oil works too in an emergency!

caffinequeen · 28/09/2011 18:15

Botanical eye make up remover gel is good, it's about £5 and you only need a small amount so it lasts forever. Not too greasy either!

MrsRobertDuvall · 28/09/2011 18:42

I like loreal ...about 2.75 in boots

gregssausageroll · 28/09/2011 18:50

The best one I have found is the one you need to shake from Clarins.

PersonalJesus · 28/09/2011 18:54

Another one for Botanics here, I used to use the Chanel one until an assistant in Boots mithered me to try it. It was only a few pounds and I was sceptical. However, total convert - love it!

thenightsky · 28/09/2011 18:58

Botanics one that you have to shake up. I always wear waterproof and it shifts it with 2 wipes. Never found anything to better it yet.

piratecat · 28/09/2011 19:22

i second the loreal one!

MissBeehiving · 28/09/2011 19:28

Macademia nut oil is the best makeup remover I've ever used. Good for your skin too Smile

1gglePiggle · 28/09/2011 19:30

Third vote for l'oreal 2-phase one!

rachyconks · 28/09/2011 19:32

I use sephora eye make up remover, but if I can't get that, then virgin vie make up remover. They are great and even take off liquid eyeliner in one wipe!

I think Simple eye make-up remover is very effective. It's non-oily, too. The oily ones leave a residue which doesn't bother me if I'm going straight to sleep but has me blinking nineteen to the dozen if I want to read in bed.

jepa · 28/09/2011 19:56

Brilliant- thank you thank you thank you Flowers - though I now dont know which one to use !
Will start at the top and work down !

Lancome Bifacils - it is brilliant and gets rid of everything (including indelible gel eyeliner)

jepa · 28/09/2011 19:58

Whoops my flower smiley didnt work :)

glub · 28/09/2011 20:04
