Babyliss velcro bout £30. Just practise and make sure clips don't dent the hair at the front.

There's some more - cloud system or something but they're well expensive

I was looking on amazon and they do Babylis pro curlers which get very good reviews.

ggirl · 24/09/2011 14:25

do you mean these?
bit ott forme I think

or http://www.amazon.co.uk/BaByliss-3035BU-Thermo-Ceramic-Rollers/dp/B004IO51F8/ref=sr_1_9?s=drugstore&ie=UTF8&qid=1316870566&sr=1-9 these

actually only need to do top section of head for volume so don't want a million curlers and these seemed ideal but lots of reviews saying they don't get hot enough

what a dilemna Wink

Learn from others mistakes, thats what I say. Or keep the reciept and take them back if their not suitable.

whojimmyflip · 24/09/2011 16:14

I think if you leave them on for a while they get hot enough but also ive been at work when some sets didnt work so perhaps a random bad batch?!Also old stylee boots rollers are pretty good I'll see if I can find a link on eBay

alemci · 24/09/2011 16:38

yes the babybliss ones are very good. they have velcro around them. My dd has hijacked them at present and they have disappeared into the abyss of her bedroom

ggirl · 24/09/2011 16:59

these have velcro round them?

do you need heated ones for definite? I use just velcro curlers in my hair straight after drying (saw my hairdresser doing it) and dried upwards like underneath the hair when drying as well as straight down, spray it and then wait until it cools, about 20 seconds and it has much more volume!

mummy2munchkin · 24/09/2011 18:16

velcro rollers sorry, just plain ones from boots and I think they're on sale actually.

ggirl · 24/09/2011 18:17

I already have velcro ones , will have a go with them as forgot I had them thanks

ok, let us know how it goes!

alemci · 24/09/2011 20:49

yes g girls i think those are ones i have. they have a velvet fabric around them which i think helps them to stay in plus are kind to hair. They are good.

My dd did her hair the other day and she looked lovely. I am biased.
