ordered three dresses online, have tried them on and I know which I like... But wanted reassurance from DH. He has said my least fave looks the nicest and this is the one he prefers.

I am 5ft size 10 but have slight bingo wings. DH prefers the sleeveless dress . Nowt I can do about bingo wings now seen as the dress is for Sat night. Going out with two other couples to a really nice restaurant, well it is a pub with a restaurant attached, it is renowned for it's seafood up north.

Which dress do you like?

DH likes

my second fave

my first choice

All are at knee level. First two slim fitting, third floaty, bit not too floaty that it could make you look pregnant.

Rank in order of liking please Grin

Another vote for the first dress, your dh has good taste. And a pashmina/wrap will be fine.
Hope you have a good night.

ChablisLover · 16/09/2011 13:00

Another vote for dh favourite. Sorry. I also like your second fave.

More dressy for a night out.

BalloonSlayer · 16/09/2011 13:08

I like them all but your DH's favourite made me go "oooooooooh"

Bellavita · 16/09/2011 13:58

Facial rescheduled.

DH a little hurt with me that I didn't take his word for it about the dress... am sure he will get over it! Grin

men! what are they like!!

mathanxiety · 16/09/2011 17:28

I like your DH's favourite too. I don't see how the others would hide bingo wings any better than his fave one would, while at the same time accentuating the positive about you.

You probably think you have more to worry about than you do.

Bellavita · 16/09/2011 17:46

Man, the others had little sleeves. But anyhow, dress upstairs now awaiting tomorrow, others packed away back in the box awaiting the post office.

Wow, I am turning into one of those "doesn't read names" people.

I answered this with no idea it was you :)

There's nothing wrong with your arms anyway you numpty.

Bellavita · 17/09/2011 13:14

Hair done!

Lovely arm bangle/cuff bought! It is fab, double bangle with twisty bits on but dainty and it goes above the elbow. There were some really wide ones for lower down, but they didn't look right on my arm.

Thanks for all your help ladies!

They are all lovely! I think I prefer the one your DH likes, but maybe wear it with a slinky cardigan to cover up your arms, if you are self-conscious about them.

BikeRunSki · 17/09/2011 13:19

I like your DH's best too.

Where is this gastropub renounded for seafood up north? I must go!

Bellavita · 17/09/2011 13:59

Crab and Lobster at Asenby
