Clarks

I just don't trust myself anymore. I buy things and then discover they are mumsy.

Could you wear them witha skirt (and look good)?

tethersend · 12/09/2011 21:59

No. They look cheap to me.

I like these better.

acatcalledfelix · 12/09/2011 21:59

Not a huge fan I'm afraid, I think there are nicer ankle boots about (and at Clarks IIRC).

moondog · 12/09/2011 22:00

No. They are hideous.

latrucha · 12/09/2011 22:00

I can't wear a heel. too old Injury to the knees.

Cheap but not mumsy?

Tether's choice nice (as always, bar temporary lapse of sanity in gladiator sandal dept.)

PerAr6ua · 12/09/2011 22:03

No - I hate those creases on leather at the moment. I've got a pair of these on order, which I'm telling myself are practically flat when you take the height at the sole into account Grin

latrucha · 12/09/2011 22:04

{coughs into hand} quite high? Wink

OP posts:
tethersend · 12/09/2011 22:04

I will never apologise for that sandals. NEVER.

Grin

(Didi you get the Dune boots in the end BTW?)

These are the same height, but more £££

latrucha · 12/09/2011 22:05

No seriously, I would be in physiotherapy if I wore those.

OP posts:
tethersend · 12/09/2011 22:06

Actually, Clarks do have some nice stuff at the moment, don't they? Am loving these. Not what you're looking for, though. Will look again.

tethersend · 12/09/2011 22:07

What's your top budget?

LynetteScavo · 12/09/2011 22:07

No, they are horrid.

latrucha · 12/09/2011 22:08

As much under £100 as I can get.

Or in other words, £100.

Grin I ordered a pair from Office actually. Not overly hopeful as got a bit zoned out but shall see.. EWill link if meet approval.

I love those Clarks boots with silver bit on heel and was tempted to get full length pair but had already got some grey shoes with a heel like that so wopuld have been weird to get another pair the same I fely.

latrucha · 12/09/2011 22:17

Ah well. No one likes them. At least that saves apost-shopping comedown to reality.

Must try harder.

OP posts:
tethersend · 12/09/2011 22:23

Do you want brown?

Too light?

What are you going to wear them with?

moondog · 12/09/2011 22:35

Whaddya reckon?

tethersend · 12/09/2011 22:40

Chunkier sole than I thought you wanted... but I still have what I think you want in my head Confused

I mean yes. I think they're good. Let me know how they are when they arrive. I NEED to know.

moondog · 12/09/2011 22:41
Grin

I thoguht I might..you know, throw caution to the wind and flirt with chunkiness.

I shall keep you informed.

Nospringflower · 12/09/2011 22:49

I love the look of those Office ones. Have just ordered some Clarks ones from another thread but maybe will need to get those as well Grin

Pan · 12/09/2011 22:56

No to the Clarks one's in the OP. A slight yes to tethers alternative, but moondogs are only fit for a bit of brick-laying with.

tethersend · 12/09/2011 23:01
