what do we think of white jeans?

I've been mulling over buying white jeans to look a bit more summery but still be warm in the chilly Scottish summers. I bought these today and they fit perfectly but I'm just not sure if the are all wrong!? I'm a size 8 and tall if that helps?

i wouldn't wear them with those shoes, but no not wrong at all, channel liz hurley... one of the benefits of being a size 8 is being allowed to wear white jeans!

i think they're great - on slim people white jeans look really good - i wish i was one of them! Go for it and enjoy the sun!

I adore white jeans! And think they're fab for spring/summer and actually can be pretty flattering.

I do love our white jeans threads - theres always the same few of us who love them

Have I missed the' I hate maxi dresses and only supermodels can wear them thread yet' - as I do love that one too I was told last year on here that I was deluded if I thought I looked nice in one as only 5ft tall.

OMG, I was just looking at those online yesterday! I have them in navy and black and agree the fit is fantastic.

I was wondering about white jeans though. They're kinda trashy but hot at the same time. I might have to go for it :)

I like them, and the shoes, although I think the model is wearing a size too small as her toes are hanging out the front.

i think they are just fine in summer months, just dont do a Liz Hurley and wear them all year!

Absolutely fine yes - as are the cropped ones.

Love white jeans, but you have to dress them down, not up, imo. So:
Worn with flats and layering or a tunic = GOOD.
Worn with anything too tight or tarty, or heels of any sort = Too Liz (Hurley/MacDonald etc).

You'd look great in them, but I agree, dress them down rather than up.

Yes they are fab and you should wear them (and I may well buy myself some too. Despite not being tall. But am a size 8)

Agree with ManicAnnie - dress down for daytime. However, if you do decide to wear in the evening then heels and a dressy top would be fine just don't do tight top.

I like white cropped cotton trousers but not cropped jeans.
