I know lots of people who have them. I think they are awful though. OK as a toiletbag for a trip away may be.

wordsonascreen · 13/05/2011 14:03

Peg bags are acceptable

redderthanred · 13/05/2011 14:03

Im now the only one in our admittley small office without one.

i can understand the whole shabby chic thing looks nice in kitchens. or gardens. or little girls bedrooms. But for womens handbags?

Too flowery. Or spotty. Or stripey.

oooh. id like a peg pag. My shabby chic peg tin has gone a bit rusty.. which has strangley not made the whole shabby chic look better.. and instead made it look like a bit of rusty tin!

I read an interview with Cath Kidston and it had photos of the interior of here house. There was nothing floral in sight. It was clean lines and minimalism, ultra modern kitchen.

Couldn't help thinking about the poor saps buying her stuff and there she was in her lush German kitchen.

polyhymnia · 13/05/2011 16:16

I think they are both naff and so utterly done to death as to be beyond boring.

They have shops in such places as the King's Road and Wimbledon Village but they always remind me of theme park shops.Am amused that her own kitchen is so tasteful.

BunnyWunny · 13/05/2011 16:17

I want a sewing basket- (must be getting v. old).

pickyourbrain · 13/05/2011 16:19

Yp, theyre crap. I like in kitchens, and gardens. But not on grown women.. have you seen their night wear while we're on the subject...?

My DP's cock would shrivvle up if I went to bed like that.

sexy

keep · 13/05/2011 16:19

They are perfect to store knitting or crochet. That is all.

theladylovescupcakes · 13/05/2011 16:21

I have just taken my cath kidston bag out of the wardrobe, haven't used it in a while, it's tasteful, flowery but in a subdued kind of way. I like it.

partyhats · 13/05/2011 16:22

I too saw a programme with her in her modern and minimalist white kitchen. I don't like the handbags at all, twee and naff but I do have a nappy bag in CK oilcloth fabric.

NoelEdmondshair · 13/05/2011 16:24

I have a Cath Kidston holdall (is that what they're called?). It's blue and very pretty and not naff Smile

Chandon · 13/05/2011 16:25

I like them.

Just bought one as a present for MIL Shock

dexter73 · 13/05/2011 16:28

My dd is desperate for one for school, but I told her she would have to pay for it herself as it is £60!!!
