Do you like my new dress?

I ordered it today, last one available. I hope it fits and looks nice. I have good legs but a bit of a dodgy middle section so short shift-style things suit me:

wtf is girlish charm though!

Bearcrumble · 04/05/2011 20:21

I don't normally buy things that expensive but I wanted to treat myself.

Girlish charm = what I am brimming with. (Hides birth certificate).

Bearcrumble · 04/05/2011 20:29

That's not really a compliment is it?

GypsyMoth · 04/05/2011 20:32

yes,its,er,expensive!!!

pink4ever · 04/05/2011 20:39

Sorry buts its a sack made of denim and you paid £166 for it?!Shock.

UptoapointLordCopper · 04/05/2011 20:43

I like it very much. But the price! Shock

Collision · 04/05/2011 20:44

Oh it's awful.

am so sorry but it is so not lovely at all and I am sorry if I hurt your feelings but I feel that I have to tell you the truth.

Please send it back and get something nicer that we can help you with.

Collision · 04/05/2011 20:48

I think you are winding us up!

Ladymaryjane · 04/05/2011 20:51

Sorry, it looks like a nightie Wink

GypsyMoth · 04/05/2011 21:01

thank god everyone has now said what i first thought!!

its vile

you are joking ,yes??

iWILLdothis · 04/05/2011 21:26

it's more of a shapeless faded shirt than a dress IMHO

olympialimpet · 04/05/2011 21:36

Looks OK-ish with a belt but do agree with others that it really is not that nice especially for that price.

biological · 04/05/2011 21:54

I think it's lovely.
It does look like something I might sleep in - but that's just because I can't wear any kind of dress until I've lost a heap of lbs.

ColonelBrandonsBiggestGroupie · 04/05/2011 21:55

Seems an awful lot of money to me. I'm sure Topshop or a vintage shop would have something similar.

dexter73 · 04/05/2011 21:56

It really does look like a nightie Hmm

tattycoram · 04/05/2011 23:00

I love it. It IS expensive though

AnyFucker · 04/05/2011 23:02

that's a lovely night shirt

Jonnyfan · 05/05/2011 00:14

I love it! Lovely colour and looks well made- as it should of course-I would wear it!

LonelyLinda · 05/05/2011 11:14

You could get something like that from H&M or TopShop for about £20.

It looks nothing like the amount of money it costs. Save your money, honestly, it is just a shirt dress.

There are lots of short shift dresses on asos.co.uk and french connection that look nicer and are less expensive

madammecholet · 05/05/2011 11:58

uum, it's nothing special imo. Agree you could have found same for cheaper...

blue2711 · 05/05/2011 12:49

Bearcrumble, ignore the critical ones, it's lovely! I love that site and think the dress is really stylish and gorgeous for summer. Hope it looks good on.

Pinkjenny · 05/05/2011 12:51

I'm sorry, no. It looks like a nightie.

dexter73 · 05/05/2011 14:34

You can't really ask if people like your dress and then ignore the ones who say no!!Grin
