Levi curve jeans

Ok folks.

Am short.

Stumpy legged.

And fat.

(think 5ft2 and size 12/14)

I have an ongoing problem with buying jeans.

I just want a pair of jeans that fit me

So, in the spirit of my new found confidence Blush, I have booked an appointment to be fitted for curve jeans at the levis store

I am definitely an apple shape, ample of arse with a mummy tummy.

So, I will report back later and let you know how I get on.

Marking my place with much interest.

changingmynameagain · 23/04/2011 09:35

I only rang to see when they were open to.

The lovely guy on the phone booked me for an appointment.

I can never get jeans that fit - to get them the right size for my arse they are all gape-y round the waist.

So hopefully these will fit.

Can't believe they do a fitting appointment !

Please report back I'm intrigued by the whole 'fitting' idea.

The arse has finally given up on my favourite jeans and I'm in need of a new pair.

changingmynameagain · 23/04/2011 09:47

I have visions of "less than a handful you're a demi-curve, more than a handful, you're a full curve" or something lol

I am at the stage of being fed up with jeans that don't fit.

I have a pair of next ones that are about to fall apart, and other than that, not one pair of jeans that I actually like to wear or that I feel fit me well.

And I was honest with the bloke about my size and he said he thought I would have a good choice of jeans Confused

Have to be there for 12 and I promise to report back

They were fab when I went to get some. The lady measured me and then brought me all different styles, colours and sizes (different styles fit differently and even different colours in the same style, so you really need to try them). I was measured as a bold curve but ended up with demi curve in a straight leg. They fit me like a glove and are so flattering. Worth the £85!!!

Pinkflipflop · 23/04/2011 10:45

I ordered a pair of these on line and they were fab!! I got the slim curve and I have never felt so good in a pair of jeans - first skinny pair that I love!

HOWEVER.. when I went into the Levi shop with a friend as I had recommended them to her, the girl in the shop measured/fitted us both and they were completely wrong - she told me I was a different 'curve' to the ones that I had ordered and loved Confused.

What I'm saying is these are fab jeans but try on a few styles in your size, i.e. different curves (there are 3) and don't just go with what the assistant tells you!

A ramble, but don't want you missing these fab jeans!!

washnomore · 23/04/2011 10:54

Ooh intriguing. Haven't got £85 but marking my spot anyway!

superv1xen · 23/04/2011 11:04

oooh let us know how you get on

changingmynameagain · 23/04/2011 15:07

Well I'm back - with a pair of jeans!!!

I am a "Bold Curve" which is Levi speak for I have a fat arse I think lol

But I have a pair of jeans, straight leg, that fit like a glove.

I don't have a gappy waistband, and they don't give me a muffin top.

Well well well worth the money

Grin

wow they sound lovely! bet they look great.

mumtoted · 23/04/2011 18:11

Well done on finding jeans to fit! Did they have other leg styles with the bold curve, did you happen to notice? Boot leg of flare? And what colour denim did they have?

changingmynameagain · 23/04/2011 19:04

Lots of leg length - 30, 32, 34

Styles - skinny, straight, bootcut

Colours - everything from pale denim, to mid to dark to black

I am so chuffed Grin

I bet you are. I am envious, and still looking.

Sorry, another question, did you see what size waist they went up to?

iloveeverton · 23/04/2011 19:11

Love Levi jeans I got fitted in new York 2 weeks ago- best jeans I've had and they only cost £41 in the US.

changingmynameagain · 23/04/2011 19:14

34 or 36 I think

check on the Levis website.

I know not like me to fall lucky! My sister is going back in June so I'm sending an order with her!

changingmynameagain · 23/04/2011 19:24

And the 12 year old young male shop assistant who fitted me was lovely and very patient.

I tried on loads of pairs.

omg
just been to website - i so need this service
all booked in for wednesday after work :)
thank you so much changing my name again

TaudrieTattoo · 23/04/2011 20:41

They are FANTASTIC!

I measured my own waist before I went in - boy in the shop was most put out Grin

I ended up buying three pairs - dark and light bootlegs, and a pair of dark skinnies.

No muffin top, no camel toe, no double hip thing, no waist gape, comfy, perfect jeans. Honestly.

I loved them so much I posted on facebook to all my friends from the fitting room Blush

changingmynameagain · 23/04/2011 20:43

That's how I feel tawdry Blush

Can't wait to save up for another pair.

They are amazing they just FIT Grin

walesblackbird · 23/04/2011 20:46

Oh I want a pair! I always have to put a belt on jeans to keep them up and then they all all bulk round the middle. Am not huge but am very short (4ft 11 and three quarters!) and lots of jeans sag around the crotch and bag at the waist.

I need to find somewhere near to buy these jeans!!

changingmynameagain · 23/04/2011 20:48

Wales - I am only 5ft 2 and I always always have to have a belt and then the belt is all bumfled at the waist and the jeans just look stupid.

I actually had jeans I could get up and down without undoing the waist Blush

I will have half as many jeans but they will all be Levi Bold Curve

QwertyQueen · 23/04/2011 20:55

I won a pair of Levi's curve jeans the other day - am 8.5 months preggers though, so will wait a couple of months before going it to choose some.
Didn't realise you had to have a fitting tho!
excited!

ShouldersBackAndNoBiscuits · 23/04/2011 21:08

I walked past the levi store today and wondered what the window display was about - I am in need of new jeans, I may go and investigate, thanks for posting this!

changingmynameagain · 23/04/2011 21:09

I honestly can't recommend them highly enough.

It was a completely brilliant experience.
