imo they are horrid
anyone for golf

frannyandzooey · 04/11/2005 08:34

I love cropped trousers. They are the only trousers that look like they are the right length on me, as an inch or two here or there makes no difference, IYSWIM. Long trousers always ride up on me and make me look stupidly leggy.

I think the Fauntleroy ones are cool too. I am generally in favour of all trousers that avoid the ankle region.

teeavee · 04/11/2005 12:00

those plus fours have been tempting me - but I'm afraid of becoming a laughing stock among my friends

you need to be tall and ultra slim to get away with those

other cropped trousers are geat though - a good way of showing off boots

fishie · 04/11/2005 12:07

debenhams have a few pairs in sale, i've sent for these . i 've got three pairs of long boots but just can't wear skirts/tights with a baby. also hope that stumpy legs will go well with vast bosomed top-heavy look.

frannyandzooey · 04/11/2005 12:14

Do it, teeavee, who cares about being a laughing stock anyway? A friend said she liked my culottes and I said "You don't think they're a bit daft then?". She said "Yes, but daft is a good look for you..."

codKEMP · 04/11/2005 13:45

teeavee · 04/11/2005 14:07

i'll wait for the sales and see if I still fancy them in January, I think!

kikidee · 04/11/2005 18:56

Cod, Kew have some cropped tweedy trousers but I don't think they're available to buy yet. You can see them in the catalogue and they are on the website as a model wears them with a jumper that they are currently selling. Come in either a brown or a grey check and are v.reasonably priced.

Bozza · 05/11/2005 22:23

Well just post baby flab I suppose. I bought some jeans from Gap and the 10 were too big - fell down and the 8 fit OK but I have a bit of muffin top going on. That sort of thing. Also have big shoulders.
