i ask as i have never been known for my fashion wisdom. and yet i have been put into the position of buying a coat for sister moving to the uk in ten days from a hot country.
i know that a few years ago it was brown, then grey, what might it be now? or is it cut? or material?
i am just a sad case who wears her coat till it falls apart. mn, please help

Belted macs are pretty chic at the mo.

NomDePlume · 31/10/2005 20:16

Or anything millitary style if you need something warmer. Any length goes

GhoulsToo · 31/10/2005 20:17

warm?

stitch · 31/10/2005 20:18

ghouls, thats my thoughts too,
but my sis is much more stylish than me. also thinner, and more glamorous. so i shall recommend the military style. thanks ndp.
do belted macs look good if you are short? she is 5'3".

Depends on the length re macs. If she gets the length right then she can prob carry off pretty much any style.

Hobbs has got lots of nice coats at the moment (I got a belted trench there and love it).
Russian is very in too.
