what is this years winter coat?

i ask as i have never been known for my fashion wisdom. and yet i have been put into the position of buying a coat for sister moving to the uk in ten days from a hot country.
i know that a few years ago it was brown, then grey, what might it be now? or is it cut? or material?
i am just a sad case who wears her coat till it falls apart. mn, please help

nice, but i think trouble is i saw themiranda first.
BUT, im not in need of a coat. im just salivating over it. its for my sis, and i think she maybe ok with the hobbs one price. just got to check with her first.

ooooh glad you like it stitch, mine is in the tobacco colour, very easy to wear, probably not super warm though if you really need a very warm coat! I don't so that suits me fine
