Well, you may remember I was waiting for this to arrive. And it has. And it is perfect!
I am 32H, 5'8"", hourglass size 14/16.
The 14L fits like a glove, the 16 was way too big,so size down.
It is super flattering, super comfy, super pretty and I can't wait for some good weather! Will be perfect for everyday stuff.Have it two colour ways.
I should point out that like many of us,I have sent just about everything back to Boden this year, but this is a keeper.
Smug face.

How flimsy is the material? Looks ok though, particularly if it fits your norkage Grin

thatsnotmyfruitshoot · 05/04/2011 13:02

ooh, which colour. Am debating between top two..

Sorry all,had to nip out for a bit.
Definitely didn't feel mumsy. Seriously flattering-especially to the boobs!
The material is a good weight, doesn't feel flimsy at all.
I ordered the radish and the clover. keeping both-although have to change the clover for a smaller size-does come up big.
I have dark brown hair, pale skin.
I did order these in the summer preview,so got 20% off too.

Ordered radish and blue hawaiian for choice! Like radish more in pic, but think I might get more wear out of the blue. Stock low in some sizes now, am hoping it looks as nice on me as it does on you woopsi Smile

cabbageroses · 05/04/2011 18:57

I was thinking about this- but thought it looked a it a) maternity due to smocking and b) little girlish due to floral prints.
was thinking of the blue Hawiian or the lilac.

convince me it would work on an older Mum!

thatsnotmyfruitshoot · 05/04/2011 18:59

Hmm. I've bought it for a beach holiday abroad, and for weekends slobbing around the beaches here. Not sure I would wear on school run, other than maybe with a little cardi and wedges. Will reserve judgement until it gets here..

woopsidaisy · 05/04/2011 19:12

I am mid thirties. Am planning on wearing it with little cropped cardy too.

polyhymnia · 05/04/2011 19:18

Where do you lot get you little cropped cardis?

ellangirl · 05/04/2011 19:25

Glad it was worth the wait woopsidaisy, but it still doesn't look like there's room for the boobage, does that ruching detail sit under the bust on you? ALso, is the radish red or orangey?

woopsidaisy · 05/04/2011 19:39

The radish is orangey, which I love!
I am a 32H-plenty of boobage. But the neckline is super flattering, honestly. I will have to try it on again to see where the ruching sits...
I have orange, pink and grey cropped cardys from Boden Blush.Mostly from the sales. Wore them so much last year, and still going.

I'm a size 18, 5'9" with an average C cup bust and a flabby tummy! I love the look of this dress - should I risk it? Would my tum be covered without any 'cling', do you think? Also, I'm 46 - too old?!

woopsidaisy · 05/04/2011 19:42

I have a very flabby tummy-and it hides it beautifully! Grin

polyhymnia · 05/04/2011 19:44

Are they similar to what they call this year 'favourite cropped cardy' or the cashmere ones?

polyhymnia · 05/04/2011 19:45

Question intended for Woopsi, re Boden cardys.

doglover · 05/04/2011 19:46

Thanks for the reassuring words, WD!!

therugratref · 05/04/2011 19:55

I have your exact measurements but am 1 inch shorter so ordered 14 R. Spain here I come!

herecomesthsun · 05/04/2011 20:18

Hang on, this is a knee length dress with sleeves, that costs a notional £55. Why would it not be suitable for the "school run"? (NB I don't exactly do school run, because I work FT)

Well,I think I will be wearing mine everywhere this Summer.
They look great with my new sandals too.
polyhymnia Yes,I have these, they are wearing well. Very versatile,I have worn them over black dresses with coloured belts in the Winter months too.

Thought I would share this one too. Very flattering and used the 25% off GRAZIA20 code.

polyhymnia · 05/04/2011 23:12

Thanks, woopsi - my bust is considerably larger than yours (and I'm tall), so not sure if cropped cardis will be right for me, but will probably give one of those a try.
