It's my 40th birthday, I want a red dress and I want to look like mutton dressed as lamb

And I don't care what anyone thinks. However I shall have only 12 hours upon touching down in the UK to find one. I haven't found one yet on t'interweb. Is red an absolute no no this year?

Actually DP now you have got me thinking, see I could physically wear that dress, I don't think people would recoil. They would probably be rather surprised mind you. Perhaps they would be too polite to recoil.

I wore a print version of this on my 40th and got lots of compliments. Might be a bit retro for some but it's very flattering.

I have posted to the black one as the red one doesn't photograph well
