I'm a make-up muppet, and I just bought some liquid eyeliner

Help. I don't really wear make-up apart from mascara, some powder and a dab of cream blusher. I have horrific eyesight, which doesn't help. I'd love to wear some really dramatic eye make-up. However, whenever I've used a eyeliner pencil I've ended up with wonky eyes The problem is that as I draw, my eyelids bunch up. I may have baggy eyelids. Anyway, I have just bought a rimmel liquid eyeliner. How do I put it on so that I look fab, rather than running in to my eyelashes and going adrift.

It doesn't have to be -it was just thoughtless. That is what makes it casual (acceptable because no harm was meant) but just as damning.

Bloody hell. All this from eyeliner.

I did manage to use some foundation today, without looking tangoed. That is quite an achievement. Although DH did say 'What's wrong with your face? It looks all...smooth', which I chose to take as a compliment. I was too scared to try the eyeliner at 8am before the school run, but might have a glass of dutch courage before attempting it tonight. Wish me luck

.....an-y-way... persist with liquid eyeliner, when you get good at it it looks fab and can become a bit of a signature thing - I never wear it because I'm lazy.. and that is where your advantage is!

As an aside - I heartily recommend the Superdrug supercheap 2True brand of waterproof liquid eyeliner. It goes on easily and stays put all day, only costs about £1.99. Better than the Dior one I had before

Sorry no actual advice. I'm terrible at eyeliner, can never get the flick right and my eyes end up sort of round looking. Like a fucking european.
