Summer? You're optimistic. We're barely out of February!

Talking of optimism, I'm wondering how your kids are going to afford your mothers' day present Wink.

JemimaMop · 24/02/2011 15:46

I bought a few things in Boden, although it was the A/W sale they have been bought for S/S.

Vintage Denim skirt only £19 with £10 off voucher
A couple of camis for £9 each
Cosmopolitan Tee for £12.50
Capris (which were actually bought at the end of last summer and put away)
And a cropped cardi just in case summer isn't that sunny...

I also bought some ballerina flats from Clarks with a voucher code I found on here, they were already reduced and the voucher took them down to £10 Grin

JemimaMop · 24/02/2011 15:52

Oh, and I bought this maxi dress from ebay

nancydrewfoundaclue · 24/02/2011 15:54

I bought a fab cobalt blue jersey maxi dress today. Have been looking for something similar for ages without luck and stubbled randomly across it in Primark. £12. Bargain.

madammecholet · 24/02/2011 15:59

Havingkittens THATS why I am thinking of summer....as its still on Feb and dreary!!

Re mothers day, one can live in hope & I did save on the top and jeans though!! Hee hee.... tbh I am looking forward to my sticky goo brekkie...!

Jemima loving those capris, which colour did you get??

OP posts:
nancydrewfoundaclue · 24/02/2011 17:21

I also saw this today which looked absolutely gorgeous.

Have talked myself out of it because i) expensive; ii) I am about to have a baby therfore will not have a waist for most of summer iii) Have you tried BF in a high necked dress?!

Think someone elese should have the benefit of it though Smile

Oh and my gold tweed Alexa was definitely a "for summer" purchase. Not least because I don't dare get it wet Grin

Meggles76 · 24/02/2011 17:38

madammecholet · 24/02/2011 19:42

Bargain nancy, well done you, look at how much you saved!!

.. I do love the P&M bag, but just bought another one from them so I cannot justify another this month! I live in hope my DH reads this thread....ha ha!!

OP posts:
lololizzy · 24/02/2011 19:52

definitely wanting the blue and white heart print maxi dress from Yumi

JemimaMop · 24/02/2011 21:25

lol madammecholet the thing is I live in an area where there aren't many Boden wearers so I can indulge my liking for it without looking like a clone. Usually only in the sales though!

The capri pants are denim, which is quite boring but I know I will wear them lots.

Meggles76 · 24/02/2011 21:40

same as you jemima. Not many Boden wearers here. Hurrah!

sahminspain · 25/02/2011 08:08

Nothing yet but I am off to Zara in a minute to have a mooch!

madammecholet · 25/02/2011 08:51

jemima & meggles I have plenty of Boden clothes...so does DH and the children...I was merely impressed at your stash!!

I've been lusting after this

silk dress

:)

sethstarkaddersmackerel · 25/02/2011 14:34

I'm currently having a gloat about this

have been wanting a 40s tea dress for ages and couldn't find the perfect one; in fact I think I saw this one before and just laughed at the price.

now I'm just hoping it won't need too much ironing.

madammecholet · 25/02/2011 14:36

Whats the fit like seth ? Love the hawthorn and indigo one...am tempted..??

OP posts:
sethstarkaddersmackerel · 25/02/2011 14:42

that's the one I've got.
It's got plenty of space in the lower half (and ties at the waist), not terribly roomy at the top: I am a small-waisted 12 with big shoulders and a 32D bust and it just fits me on the top.

I put it on and it looked frumpy then I remembered I was wearing a bad bra so I swapped to a better one and suddenly it looked lovely, which makes me think it would not work with a bust that is too big .
