My skincare recommendations:

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant

Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream

Guerlain Issima Midnight Secret (pricey but fab)

Enid · 17/10/2005 09:40

yes I love their Twig Lipstick I'll vote for that

but I bought the foundation and it dried my old skin out

buffytheharpsichordcarrier · 17/10/2005 09:44

I like Clarins Beauty Flash Balm as well. makes me look all Pinky and Perky

twinsetandpearls · 17/10/2005 11:21

Clarin's Beauty flash balm
Chanel foundation
Body shop body butters
Maybelline mascara - the green and pink one although to be honest haven't tried others
Benefit lip and cheek stain - for that just had rampant sex look!
YSL Touche Eclait
Benefit Moon beam - to add that glow
Benefit Flamingo fancy - to brighten up your white bits when going out
Mac for eye shadows
Prescriptives magic for foundation and powder
Prescriptives foundation brush
Make up brushes from Body Shop
Elizabeth Arden Eight hour cream

twinsetandpearls · 17/10/2005 11:21

Why do I spend all that money and still have so many off days??

twinsetandpearls · 17/10/2005 11:22

I have tried Glowtion and look bloddy ridiculous but I am very pale.

twinsetandpearls · 17/10/2005 11:23

When I got married I hired a make up artist who did a lot of film and tv work and she used an Aveda glimmer lotion that was fantastic. Never bought it again though.

As part of her service she recommended a make up pakage for me, also Mac lip gloss and lip sticks.

My vote for skincare:

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish
They should definitely get affiliated to mumsnet, they have brilliant customer service. Quickly delivered, beautifully wrapped, wonderfully friendly staff. And every parcel I've ever received has always had a free decent sized (read travel sized) sample. Fantastic.

Make Up:

No 7 Intelligent Colour Foundation
MAC Cheekhue
Bobbi Brown lipstick

eyelashes - get them tinted!

Fimbo · 17/10/2005 13:29

Fimbo · 17/10/2005 13:35

I saw some-one I thought might have been you, it was the boots that did it! LOL

cupcakes · 17/10/2005 13:38

ah I didn't have my boots on yesterday.
Did wonder when I wore them last week if it would be a big signal to mumsnetters!
Yesterday I wore my brown gilet and denim skirt with flat brown suede boots.

Fimbo · 17/10/2005 13:41

Ok, it wasn't you - mind you I was really jealous of this person I saw - gorgeous figure and lovely blonde hair (everything I am not) LOL!!

codface · 17/10/2005 13:41

no that was me

OP posts:
cupcakes · 17/10/2005 13:44

cupcakes · 17/10/2005 13:51

Fimbo - saw yesterday that we're getting a Kew. Next to Gap, where Boots opticians used to be.
Then we can all look like cod.

Fimbo · 17/10/2005 13:53

Ah that solves a nice little mystery for me, thanks CC.

codface · 17/10/2005 13:54
