Maxi dress - not beach dress not balldress

But middley in terms of smartness.

Seen any?

Up to about £100 to spend.

(I am just going to start a thread every 2 weeks or so until this bloody wedding happens, sorry if you are bored of it already)

Is it a summer wedding? I think you may need to wait a bit longer for all the maxis to hit the shops as there aren't many around at the moment.

I really rated Dorothy Perkins for their maxis last year and will shout as soon as they're in.

I know of shopstyle but wouldn't know what to type in!

Not black, but the sash on that is pretty.

Floral one is interesting shape, I like, but some colour would be nice.

Not keen on the green one, thick straps and looks like it could be pregnant-shaped.

Red/black one I do like, would have to see it on. Wonder if they have it in JL near me.

CC one at the end is too black and a bit meh.

Oh dear God that red one is insane!

Purple one is very cool but bit too much flouncy maybe.

New look one definitely beachy type material.

Thanks for the suggestions, comments in order

Boohoo one I think too black
Anusha one too hippy
Oasis one interesting but not sure on the shoulders
Biker one has unflattering mid calf thing going on
Blue Kaliko one v pretty but quite eveningy
Forever unique pretty, but black and looks a bit maternity
Green srapless one possibly too eveningy (plus totally out of stock)
Blue debut one nice but not sure about sequins.

Fussy, aren't I? :)

I didn't promise to buy a dress off this thread, might need to take Tracey's advice and wait for the newer stuff to come out in the spring.

Rose one pretty but, well, pretty in a little girl insipid pale pink way
Abstract one I'm not keen one the interesting flounces
The courful one is colourful, but I liked the red/back/white one that was the same shape better
Geisha one is nice
