Come on ladies, give me inspiration for my new wardrobe challenge based on the fact that I wear the same stuff over and over and yet have loads of clothes which never get worn (working methodically through my wardrobe selecting different item each day - if I can't make an outfit with it then bin it or ebay).

White slubby linen/cotton blend long sleeve tee (H&M)
Fitted checked shirt (Boden)
ancient denim mini (H&M)
black leggings (Top Shop)
black ballet pumps (Top Shop)

Dark blue skinny jeans (can't believe I bought these but the teenage dds both said to go for it!) - Oasis

Pink and navy striped long t-shirt - M&S

Thigh length navy cardigan

Had tan knee high boots on when I popped out earlier but now I just have grey cashmere socks.

dottyaboutstripes · 13/02/2011 15:02

Pjs and dressing gown - oh and slipper socks

Hell must've frozen over as this is SO not something I'd usually do

NormanTheForeman · 13/02/2011 15:06

Grey trousers, blue shirt, red, blue and yellow splotchy tie, yellow hi-vis waistcoat, black shoes, white hard hat.

See here, I'm the one on the left.

I always wear the same outfit though, it saves having to make agonising wardrobe decisions....

tulpe · 13/02/2011 15:07

BelligerentGhoul - yay for buying skinnies :) I think those and straight leg jeans are so much more flattering than any bootleg styles.

dotty - relax and enjoy the PJ moment :o

BelligerentGhoul · 13/02/2011 15:15

:) I quite like them with boots but can't begin to imagine how they might be worn once it's warmer.

traceybath · 13/02/2011 15:17

Indigo baxters
Red patent heels
Navy breton from h&m - seriously lovely
boden leopard print belt

And of course BBH hair.

JemimaMop · 13/02/2011 15:21

Monsoon Jeans
Gap navy long sleeved t-shirt
Navy Joules fleece

I have only been to the shop to fetch a paper and the stables, am very dressed down.

lumpsdumps · 13/02/2011 16:03

pjs and dressing gown - am ill

MoonGirl1981 · 13/02/2011 16:34

I've got some time off work and with no school runs at the weekend I declared Saturday and Sunday 'Pajama Days'.

Yesterday - bright pink pajamas with monkeys on.

Today - pale blue pajamas with cows on.

Also have green frog slippers and stripey knee socks.

NinkyNonker · 13/02/2011 16:37

We're decorating and is raining so only left to buy paint...

Dark indigo skinnies, Primark
White LS tee
Large navy hoody, Quba Sails

When out, brown knee high boots
Now in, purple White Stuff slipper boots.

Sleeping baby.

tulpe · 13/02/2011 17:12

Belligerent team them with ballet flats converse or strappy flat sandals in warmer weather.

Traceybath is the H&M Breton on their website? I bought one last year from there which I have worn to death.

OP posts:
carciofi · 13/02/2011 17:15

Black leggings
Black belstaffs
Long black cardigan
Pink tank top

laosvher · 13/02/2011 17:16

Camel ponti dress, nude tights and dog walking wellies.
Have just finished dog walking, not just wearing wellies for the hell of it :o

BelligerentGhoul · 13/02/2011 17:17

Converse? Surely that looks all wrong, proportion-wise? I don't want to look like an Emo! :)

Ballet flats could work.

tulpe · 13/02/2011 17:22

Think it depends on how skinny they are. My calves are slightly larger than average (though not massive) so I tend to wear straight legs which are generally a good close fit over my lower leg. Converse definitely look fine with those.

OP posts:
Meggles76 · 13/02/2011 18:23

Skinny jeans
beige stripe breton top
tan knee high riding boots
fine wool scarf

Belligerent - I will be swopping the boots for ballet flats once it's warmer

Northernlurker · 13/02/2011 18:27

Black cotton M&S trousers.
Spotty top.
Slippers!

traceybath · 13/02/2011 18:30

Tulpe - they're not on the site.

It was £12.50 and is navy long sleeved with white stripe (also bought the reverse). Boat neck with 3 little silver buttons on top shoulder and little buttons at the bottom of the sleeves. Really lovely quality for the price too.

BelligerentGhoul · 13/02/2011 18:38

That sounds nice - I like tiny buttons!

WhatsWrongWithYou · 13/02/2011 18:42

Primarni skinnies with navy gap top with drapey neckline, (when in house) purple squidgy ballets from NL, (out of house), dark brown suede bikers.

tulpe · 13/02/2011 18:45

Tracey that's the same one I have! Not seen it in the predominantly navy colour-way but will pop in tomorrow to try and find it. Agree it is lovely quality - I also want the slate/White version if I can find it again.

OP posts:
duckyfuzz · 13/02/2011 18:45

Earlier, black cowl neck dress from jigsaw
Now, pjs

smokinaces · 13/02/2011 18:45

brown vesttop
firework coloured style 3/4 sleeve chiffon top from Asda
converse trainers in black/purple

very late teens style on the bottom half - am refusing to acknowledge turning 30 next year Grin

TrinityMotherOfRhinos · 13/02/2011 18:50

TrinityMotherOfRhinos · 13/02/2011 18:53
