Come on ladies, give me inspiration for my new wardrobe challenge based on the fact that I wear the same stuff over and over and yet have loads of clothes which never get worn (working methodically through my wardrobe selecting different item each day - if I can't make an outfit with it then bin it or ebay).

White slubby linen/cotton blend long sleeve tee (H&M)
Fitted checked shirt (Boden)
ancient denim mini (H&M)
black leggings (Top Shop)
black ballet pumps (Top Shop)

You can be my friend Trinity. I always wear the same (well, sometimes I take my hard hat off, but that'a about it).

And my alter ego (SoMuchToBits) could be your friend too. She is currently wearing a homemade jade green corduroy skirt, and a faded blue top with a splodge of lunch on it. And a RNLI apron, as she is cooking the dinner.....

I can say that Vintage fashion is the way to go. I have has two children quite close together and now I have found a love for vintage clothes, so much that I have given up teaching and now run my own vintage clothing company! it means that each day I feel inspired by my wardrobe and have a guarantee to be unique!

tulpe · 13/02/2011 19:14

Trinity it isn't about telling people what to wear. It was about me trying to make use of what I have rather than wasting money on yet more clothes but being stuck in a rut and not wearing half of what I have.

LianeD - I am a huge vintage fan. I would love to have lived in the 50's. My summer wardrobe is awash with vintage dresses and skirts but my winter clothes tend to be more modern. You are living my dream - I really would love to start my own vintage store, including a range of vintage-inspired pieces designed by me. in fact I am thinking of starting an online business and then progressing to a real store once youngest DS is in high school.
